I am just a measly peon on this website compared to your grace, but consider yourself blocked by this peon for continuous idiocy.
By the way, this review is pretty spot on from what I have played so far. Only about 30 hours into it myself, but I must agree that it is an addicting game. Just not mind blowing as others in the series.
Has anyone had a problem with their system resetting back to default system settings? The minute I turned it on today I was prompted to setup everything again. I was wondering if it might have to do with a PS2 game I played last night for the first time in over a year.
Where we do not have to see sleazy hostess clubs in our games, most likely due to prostitution references, but are able to see two male elves get it on. First-rate priorities right there gents.
No one noticed where that is? My co-worker just sold me his copy for 1000 yen ($11) because that is all he could get for it. Saved me 5000 yen ($56), but cost me the ability to fully understand the plot.
I am pretty sure Connoro is right here. I remember reading several times that if the game is not programmed to run at 60fps, it will not.....period. No TV can make that different. What you guys might be thinking of is 1080p vs 720p, or what have you.
It is one of the best looking games on the system, but that is all it has for it. My friend just sold me his copy for close to $10 because that is all he was offered for it from the local buy-back place. I should mention this is in Japan where it was almost $90 when it first released.
I don't mean to insult your opinion saggy dog, but some of us actually enjoyed RE5 despite the fact it strayed a bit from it's predecessors. Being as I did not purchase the original copy, and that the wife enjoys playing it with me, I will be picking the alternative edition up.
Please do tell us how Modern Warfare 2 breaks away from this irritating repetition problem that BC2 now seems to have. I would love to hear your thoughts on that. I like MW2 as much as the next man, but the repetition experienced in that game is more irritating that any other game I have played, including Killzone 2. At least in the Battlefield series you have options when you respawn, and a chance to actually shoot back.
Not only God of War, but Final Fantasy and Bad Company 2 are both releasing that month. That is the worst month to release a game that has no reputation. Maybe they have a lot of confidence in it, but I don't know...
"People will buy anything if it's at least passable and has the name "Mario" on it."
That is because 9 times out of 10 it is a good game. It does not have to be Super Mario Bros. 3 level, it just has to remind you why you fell in love with that fat plumber years ago. Unfortunately, New Super Mario Bros for the DS did not bring back that nostalgia for me personally. For many it apparently did, but not enough for me. I don't think the Wii version would either,...
Because a game that has nostalgic feeling and is actually safe for children to play beats out a gun slinging killing spree type of game? Please elaborate.
They could end up liking it as a whole, you never know. From what I have seen, the game still looks Japanese no matter how Western they try and make it. That is what persuaded me to reserve a copy.
While I cannot recall if I have ever experienced the ramped glitches that have occurred, I can say without hesitation that this game is fun. That is what Infinity Ward should be praised for, making a game that keeps me, and many others, coming back for more almost daily. I see so many posts and complaints that the game has a horrible story and/or bad mechanics, but to me this game is great. I cannot really go into much more detail than that, but I am sure most will agree. I can see where peop...
It's definitely for the Japanese audience. I am not sure why others do not like it. I personally would pick one up over the DS if I were in the market. The DS to me, while fun, is just too much work when one wants to play a standard game.

"10 and 12 didnt have world maps and In my opinion this made them less fun."
13 doesn't seem to either, so I am thinking Versus will not as well.

What language is jivah speaking? I don't think I have seen anything like it before. Fascinating.

A little over a month till Bad Company 2 releases. :)
As I live in Japan, this will be picked up the day it is released. Cannot wait.

Take that as you will.
It's possibly because they overuse the "strong language" that is present. They did in the beta at least.
