He spent so many MILLIONS to sign up hollywood stars that he did not have the budget to the animations and physics. Did you saw the animations when "Norman" falls from the cliff or when he "slides" in the gully? PS2's animations quality.
Based in what we saw about DS and the two last games, PT (Kojima ate the entire budget Konami gave him to develop the game to make a graphic teaser for Sony) and the repetitive and never finished MGSV, i'm beginning to think Konami made a good move letting him go.
Sony, stay away from him, I LOVED Policenauts, ZOE 2 and MGS 1, 2, 3 and 4 but since 2008's MGS4 Kojima is all about fuss, he sells smoke, and not cheap.
Loved Snatcher, Policenauts and MGS 1, 2, 3 and 4. Since Peace Walker Kojima games interest me less and less. I did not like the gameplay reveal of Death Stranding, what a shame.
