I think it barbaric that people think just because they're not the most talented developer in the world it means they should only make exclusive titles to their platform of choice and should let their company be bought by one of the big guys.
I still support Insomniac, and whilst they aren't going through the best of times - I wish them well, they will come good eventually.. I think this is a massive transitional phase for them. In a good 15-20 years, I'd like to ...

GTA4's metacritic rating should be removed tbh. Game is no where near a 98.. not even a 95.
I already thought Naughty Dog spoiled the ending in a trailer for the Last of US a few weeks ago. I won't say what happening cause I don't know.. but they did show a clip at the very end of the trailer showing something that was quite spoilerish imo.
Looking at it another way, it's not really an argument against PS+. It's an argument FOR PS+. If it wasn't for PS+, I wouldn't have more than 20 titles this entire generation. I simply can't afford to buy games day 1 anymore.
I've been a PS+ subscriber on two occasions, and boy I've been impressed. I have been literally gifted with games every single month that I couldn't afford to buy new.

Doesn't work for me anymore. It used to a few years ago, but now the downloads go 'pending' when I play a game.
This confirms my console of choice for the 8th generation then. I was actually looking forward to what Xbox and Microsoft were going to bring this gen - but that's all ruined.
Definitely going for a PS4/WiiU Combo this gen. I must be stupid to actually support a corporation who is willing to do this to the hobby I love.
In other words... The game is amazing. Moving on. Even if it got a zero/10, I'd still buy it.

I think the last thing a gamer needs is an Xbox One. Sure features are cool and stuff, but I'm just not interested.
I mean I'll wait till E3 to see what they got, but as long as Online play is remaining paid, I'm not going near Xbox this gen.

Let's be honest in years 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 - Insomniac was literally the shit. Releasing stellar yearly titles - not many developers can do that. After Ratchet ACIT however, they just went downhill and became and average run of the mill developer.
Resistance 3 wasn't bad to be fair, but everything else has been dire.
I liked Mario Kart 8 and Mario 3D World, but that isn't enough to get me to return back as a Nintendo faithful. Since the Gamecube, I just find their franchises so boring and monotonous.
A Starfox game would be interesting, however it seems like the word 'new intellectual property' has been removed from their dictionary.
