I don't hype games up beyond thinking "this looks like fun, I look forward to playing it." Titanfall looks fun, and I look forward ti playing it.
When you build a game up in your head long before it's even released, anticipating it to "change" things, to be the best, most revolutionary game of the decade, you're simply setting yourself up for disappointment down the road.
The game looks fun, and to achieve "being fun&quo...
I'm quite sure this is the first time I've seen a limited edition paint scheme for a controller reviewed before.
Yeah, I'm hoping for something good. Judgment was something of a very bare bones game. The campaign lacked anything to pull me back in after completion for another go, and the multiplayer wasn't my cup of tea at all. Which is a surprise as the multiplayer was handled by Epic whereas the campaign was developed by People Can Fly.
Judgment really made me look back and realize that Gears of War 3 included a TON of content. Even before any of the DLC, there was a great amount of m...
Regarding Foxtrot's comment, Bioware Montreal handled the multiplayer portion of the game, a separate team that was uninvolved in the development of the campaign. The addition of multiplayer can't rightfully be blamed for the poor quality of writing at the end of the game. The blame for this belongs with Casey Hudson and Mac Walters retreating into solitude to write their own ending and refusing to allow the rest of the team to subject their work to peer review, and with EA for forcin...
Yeah, this isn't going to "fix" anything, regardless of how great of a story could be told in those 539 pages. It's not canon, so anything in it won't be reflected in the next game(s) in the franchise. The damage has long been done. Bioware had ample time to rectify things, but chose to stick to their refusal to compromise their "artistic integrity" and must move forward building upon the plotholes and lore inconsistencies they forged in Mass Effect 3.
I don't want to get into spoilers as people in these comments have already stated that they're not finished playing through the trilogy, but as someone whom was heavily invested in the games since the first one, Mass Effect 3 was a severe disappointment on many levels. And there are many reasons for why the disappointments were birthed behind the scenes, but for now I won't get into that either, not just yet at least.
Anyways, does the fact that the final fifteen ...
Though still very bitter about the ending(s), I have to admit that I am quite curious to see just where Bioware plans to take the future of this franchise. I was hoping to see something teased last Saturday.
That's been neither confirmed nor denied. "Is the next game a prequel or a sequel?" Bioware has avoided that question like the plague.
EDIT: And that's not me giving you a disagree vote.
Nobody involved in this discussion has claimed that the Xbox One is completely sold out, various individuals have simply stated that within their area, the machine has been out of stock when they check with the local stores.
Let me put it like this... I'm aware that many places have seemingly vast quantities of the console available for purchase, but on the store shelves in my town, this isn't the case.
To be fair, Amazon also had the PS4 back in stock yesterday as well, albeit it was gone again in under an hour.
Well it's something that depends entirely upon area. The local stores here are currently sold out of both consoles. I haven't even seen any empty boxes out on display for either of them.
EDIT: But I'm led to believe that there were some of both console available in the local stores at one point because there's no shortage of disgustingly overpriced units listed on Craigslist.
Haha, nicely said.
Seriosuly, all this article says is that the game will have Kinect support, SmartGlass support, and that a new trailer will be shown during the VGAs.
It was the choices you made that mattered? I'll be posting some Mass Effect spoilers so beware
Bioware loves to stress the importance of player choice, then in the end your choices do not matter, Bioware overrides them. They constantly give you meaningful choices to make and then suck the impact of them out a game or two later. Oh, you chose to kill the LAST Rachni queen? Here, have another one two games later because we gave you the option to make a meaningful decision b...
They're still sending replacement units out to affected Xbox One owners. These people are entitled to a working console, they've paid for such and they shall receive it. However, they are not entitled to anything more than that. Sorry to be blunt, but this is the truth.
The real story is that Microsoft is giving a bonus item to people affected by a certain issue, a free item that they absolutely do not have to gift anyone with but they're doing it anyways. So hoo...
I really like the look of these, but at a price that steep, nah, I'm all set.
I'd be surprised if in a few years from now Microsoft isn't offering white consoles as some sort of special edition bundle or something.
I know how you feel. Slightly different, but very similar to my disappointment when I heard last week that Playstation would get the Destiny beta before Xbox. As someone whom has been a fan of Bungie since the launch of the first Halo on the original Xbox, it's quite disappointing to see them give so many exclusives and now early access to their latest endeavor.
Ah well, such is the way of the world.
I somewhat agree as we've known for many months that neither new console would be backwards compatible.
I can't get the "full story" to load, but if it's just $10 off, meh, that's nothing too exciting. For an equal deal, you can preorder Xbox One games from the Microsoft Store and receive a $10 Xbox gift card.
I'm not the person giving you a disagree vote, but who or what is forcing you to play the multiplayer? It's there as an option to play, but you don't have to touch it if you have no desire to do so. Acquiring all achievements/trophies isn't mandatory.
Why do people still care about such trivialities? People should be having fun playing their games rather than worrying about which platform is selling more units in various parts of the world, as if the height of sales dictates the levels of fun gamers can achieve on the console.
