Nah, way too early for the PSP 2, what they should have done is released the PSP-3000 after the 1000 and missed the 2000 out.
And they should have released the 3000 at E3 '09 as a "slim" to the origional PSP just like they did for PS1 and PS2. What with the brilliant line up of games for the PSP, what more can you want?
And as for the GO, if that was £100/$150, it would sell better than anything out there. Sadly we don't live in such a world...

It just shows that Sony DOES have the technology and potential out there, and that game looked really interesting!
It has a rumoured 2009 release and would be great if Sony relased it fully finised as a surprise (not leaked, like L4D2)... maybe at TGS?

Maybe it's not meant to sell the PS3 directly, but indirectly. By showing how quintessentially unique the PS3 is..?
But regarding this article, yeah, the PS3 sold fast and still is compared to the 360. It's because of the amazing line up and variety of games.
Mind you, the 360 also now has a better line up (after E3), so that might start to grow faster if anything.
What about the 3000's battery life?

Oh and when the PSP-1000 origionally launched, the model design literally blew me away... Standing outside the game shop, I was like "this is what handheld gaming should be/look like", and I was hoping the design of the GO would also blow me away, but IMHO it only looks as sexy when it's closed.
Not saying it totally looks awful, but it just looks.....
Lol nice reply (Y) the thing I see with the PS3 is that it likes to concentrate more on the "physics" side of things. (not saying the graphics on GT5 suck) Hence the (one) fact that they call GT the "real driving simulator".
It's one thing they always emphasise about the system, it's ability to deal well with physics.

...F3 and GT5 are in direct competition, and F3 has a release date of October 2009, then that means GT5 will also have to be released around this time...
I think Sony are planning a surprise release with a Bundle/PS3 price drop/Slim PS3 around october to count for all the times they delayed other promised PS3 games.
