I guess you may be right about playstation 3 owners being homosexuals... but I doubt it. Because... I have a playstation 3 AND I am gay. However, I also have an xbox 360 and a wii, and a ps2, xbox, gamecube, and dreamcast. So...I guess multiplatform gamers are the gay ones...since we usually don't have kids and have more disposible income.
You can have both with the xbox 360 also. I have a ps3, and an xbox 360 with the hd-dvd player. It sure is becoming a MUCH better bargain for the ps3 though! The free wireless included with the ps3, makes the 360 the most expensive comparibly equipped console. Heck, I bought them all when they first came out. My complete 360 was 400 + 200 for the hd-dvd(later down the road...luckily got it as a Christmas present!) plus 100 for the wireless adapter. That's 700 dollars. The ps3 was 600 p...
I'm glad I live in America. That list looks like a who's who for nerd games. What's next? A 'wash windows for fun' game? I mean seriously, do we care about a market that sells more "[NDS] My Housekeeping Diary (Nintendo)" games than Halo 3, or ANY xbox 360 game for that matter? I sure as hell don't care. Those Japanese style niche' games give a new meaning to the term "nerdiness." It's getting almost as bad as their lame-o music scene. I just don't care what's goin...
The ps3 version of Orange Box is NOT being developed by Valve. Ea is handling the translation over to ps3. This won't be pretty.
I remember seeing a video of how the people of microsoft kept on Cliffy B and folks about the chainsaw. They just didn't want it to be in the demo for the E3 showing. They kept freaking out about it. Another guy did, however, give them some good criticism, it seemed. He said, that the gameplay(at the time) was like whack-a-mole. So, maybe having microsoft there to basically give the developers a different perspective is good. But, I can see it getting out of hand, like it seems to have ...
at your local GS. I can't wait. I have the HL2 for xbox and it was cool. When I learned it was coming to 360, I stopped playing it. No reason to play the weaker version. This is gonna be about the best game coming out this year. If you don't buy it, you're craaaaazy.
I was gonna say, "FINALLY!!! There's another game worth buying on the ps3. My Resistance, Motorstorm, VF5, and F1 games were getting lonely!" For having the ps3 this long, I expected to have more must have games. I suppose I should get Warhawk, but I don't want to just download it. I want the disc. However, I don't need a bluetooth headset. I have stereo AND mono headsets already. I think I'll wait until they release just the game for purchase on disc in the store. I think ...
I played the game tonight with my nephew on 2 player co-op. All I can say is that it's AMAZING. This game is a blast. We play on Herioc difficulty. Normal is too easy for two players. We are now done with mission 5. This is the way to play it. I'm bummed that he might have to leave tomorrow, and I won't get to finish it in co-op. I did notice the chopped sides, but it does make sense to do it that way. I like the ratio being correct. OH, and the graphics on this game are varied and ...
Yes, the game looks good, but it's difficulty seemed aimed at 8 year olds. I had little/no challenge. The enemies had basically no AI. For the most part, they were just there for you to hack and blast. I died one time in the entire stage. I am hoping it gets harder than this! Since it's gonna be supposedly one of the best exclusive ps3 games, I'm gonna buy it, but the demo was a letdown for gameplay. I guess a good way to describe this demo, is, it's like an interactive cartoon. OH, a...

Not having multiplayer is NOT a detriment to this game. That makes no sense. It's good enough on it's own. Now, so single player fps' DO need multiplayer to get a good score. But, in general, it's much more acceptable for a game to be single player, than a game to be multiplayer only. Like with Shadowrun, that is the reason I haven't bought it yet. I would rather play with missions with a variety of content, than just a bunch of punks running around on xbox live...kill, watch others res...
They pretty much echo gamerankings.com. Some feel that since it's the best game to come out in years, that id deserves a 10/10. I'm in that category. This game rocks. Yeah, I noticed things about it, but you'll notice things like you seem short next to countertops...no big deal. Also, as far as respawning, HOW THE HELL ELSE WOULD YOU DO IT?! In a game, you die. If it was realistic, the game would start you over AT THE BEGINNING OF THE GAME! They chose to handle it with the respawn po...
I do feel for these people with problems, but to let fear paralyze you into not getting one is kinda sad. I mean, so far, this thing has paid for itself. I would not like to buy another one, but I would if mine broke and the warranty wasn't in place. But, IT IS. Heck, I bought the extended two year warranty anyway from Microsoft, and when they extended the original 90 day warranty to 1 year, they bumped up my warranty coverage(which includes everything) until May 08. This purchase is amo...
I have both players. The 360 add on is only 180 dollars. It's worth it. ESPECIALLY now. I also have a record player. I don't view my record collection as obsolete, even though nobody sells LP's anymore. That collection has it's own perks... like big cover art. Anyway, whoever 'wins' this format war, I don't care. The HD-DVD's that I have won't vanish into thin air. There will always be players for them. You're much better off having both players, just like you're better off to have ...
I want to like it, but maybe it's just that it doesn't look all that great. Like, the fire explosions don't seem to illuminate the area surrounding. Of course that's rare to see anyway, but this just looks cartoony. Gears of War looked better to me. At least from what I saw. Maybe this game goes too fast for its own good, or the video is low res. I'm just disappointed.

So, I wonder why people quote the obvious Fanboy who wrote the PSU article. This whole thread and the comments are like a bunch of 4th graders talking.
Nowhere on the actual website of the people who did these videos does it say the 360 can't do this. It was made for 360 AND pc then later implemented for the...
How long did it take for Halo 2 to come out on PC?
The 360 has been out almost 2 years. There have been great game for it the entire time. Nobody wasted their time waiting in line for it.
Rumble does add to the experience, but a 7.1 audio system with a big kickass subwoofer REALLY is what makes the difference. When those Big Daddies start coming, and make that GROANNNNNNING sound. WHOA!! Awesome. Then it's the THUD THUD THUD of it's footsteps. Mine rattles the door to my basement. Awesome.
On topic, I hope this moves more 360's. I feel for the ps3 only guys, they need to open their eyes. I can't imagine choosing one system over the other. Pointless. When fanbo...
The title quote on this page is seriously misleading. It seems to me, that most of this stuff from the source article applies to both consoles. He(Sebastien Deguy, president and founder of Allegorithmic) mentions multi-threading. The 360 has 6 thread capability. Each of the 3 cores has two threads. Anyway, read these excerpts. One implies that with this technology, you won't NEED to fill a Blu-ray disc. Making more artwork costs too much money. Procedural synthesis, lets the computer ...
I guess for a longer while, it's back to silly games for Nintendophiles. This is pathetic.
