I was pretty surprised by this...until I looked at more of the screens. The gameplay ones are identical. So, the ones that have a big disparity, are the 1080 FMV scenes. I guess we already knew they'd look better, but damn! I currently only have 720p tvs because I got my first one FOR the xbox 360 back in 2005, along with a little 32" 720p one for my bedroom a few years back. I wonder if the FMV would look any different on my tvs. Still, I'm gonna get the ps3 version...but not a ne...

Seriously, there is something wrong that they didn't just make MORE discs and make the quality the same. But, screw them, I'll just get the ps3 version. They can take the money from microsoft...but not me!(for the subpar version)
The ps3 version is definitely superior. However, that doesn't make you smart or a smartER consumer. I bought a 360 the day it came out. I also already had a GC, xbox, and ps2. So, for when the 360 had the best games and graphics(without question for a long time) then you were playing the lower quality (at least visually)games. I still have all of those consoles, AND a ps3. Whereas now, we can both get the best version of ff13, I and not you, can get the versions of games where the xbox ...
My Alienware Aurora with i7 920, 9gigs ram, hd5870 should work ok. I hope. I would like to upgrade to the fastest ram, and the fastest i7, and add another 5870 in crossfire though. I just got my computer THE day that they released the 5970, so I just don't wanna spend more money on it until 2011. Like someone already said, nope, this game isn't gonna be the one making me upgrade.

The day they emailed me that they shipped my computer, ATI launched the 5970. Oh well, that always happens. I guess I'll just have to get another 5870 and run them in crossfire. That'll be sweet. I think that'll last until after 2010's round of cards come out. Don't you think?
