This argument has already been debunked when Madden 08...traditionally a PS franchise, Xbox sales completely destroyed PS sales. Look it up.
If brand recognition mattered then we wouldn't see 360 GTA outselling PS3 GTA.

Anyone with any sort of PS-brand avatar hates on GTA because they know, deep in their hearts, that GTA is the best video game series, period.
GTA4 will smoke MGS4 not only in sales but critical reviews as well. It's only a matter of time now.
