the simple answer is, believe it or not, most of us plebeians don't own $5000 HDTVs and 7.1 home theaters so we couldn't give a poop less about the PS3 being a media powerhouse, but we are able to tell that one thing's for sure...PS3's games SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh yea, and $600 is just too much for a console...see 3do.
Bioshock for single player, Halo 3 for multiplayer. Stranglehold for the bargain bin.

I played through the demo almost twice. I am gonna try hard mode tonight I believe. Fantastic game and, to be honest, my most anticipated game in years if not ever.
PS3 will be worth it in like 2 years, but right now, there are no games. This is fact.

Violent Video games DO program kids and kids have NO buisiness playing violent video games, but I will be DAMNED if you can censor MY ability to play whatever I choose. If not for SLACK companies selling violent video games to kids and other issues like JACKASS parents who allow their kids to play any game "oh, it's JUST a game" we would all be playing Manhunt 2 right now...all of us that were OLD enough to do so that is.
PS3 forces the consumer to pay out the nose for elite media crap but a terrible game library. 360 lets me choose. I don't watch movies so HDDVD is pointless, wireless is dangerous and slow, I use my computer to browse the Internet, a wireless headset? WHY?
So I spent $399.99 before the price drop, $50 for a year of XBL...I still spent less than I would have for a PS3.
The game sucks. Get over it. All of F5's games were either average or suck. Face it. Ps3's 2007 savior is a POS.
Don't forget, there's supposed to be something on Spike TV tonight @ 9pm for BIOSHOCK! To be honest, I don't thinK I've ever been so excited over a game. I will say, as far as atmospheric FPS go, BIOSHOCK reminds me a lot of KILLING TIME for the 3do. You know, all fanboyism aside, we should all be happy, as gamers, that this game is this frikkin good!
