This happened a lot faster than I expected, with all the moves they've been making to try to boost console sales and none of them working this was really the only option left. They're turning X1 into a ps4 clone more and more with all these changes they keep making.
Every release of any sort in gaming is a 'cash grab' gaming is a business. There are huge amounts of ps4 owners who never bought ps3 and didn't get to experience one of the greatest games ever made in TLOU so this was an obvious choice

Psp had FF crysis core, MGS peace walker, GTA vice/liberty city stories, god of war origins....why the hell can't they do this for the vita??? They did it just fine with golden abyss and if they put out solid spin offs of these huge franchises that are exclusive to the vita I don't see how that couldn't boost the system sales dramatically
All I can guess is that developers are hesitant to make dedicated games for it because the vita isn't selling good enough. Its such an amazing machine and deserves to have more true exclusives like golden abyss. Ports like FF X-X2 and Injustice are nice but they aren't reason enough to buy a vita.
To each their own, I personally thought Uncharted 3 was a tiny fraction below the last of us for best game last gen. I will never understand why so many people thought UC2 was the best.

God of war, final fantasy, grand theft auto, maybe even land a deal to get quantic dream to do one. The vita is such an amazing machine but they're just not showing it off enough

I don't know what the point of your statement is. This has been the case since day one, PlayStation spreads the love out evenly to all genres while Xbox almost 100 percent pushes online fps. People buy fps for xbox because if they dont its hard to justify the console purchase. Its a default victory, not an indication of the superior console.

As long as this criticism isn't strictly against the ps4 then I suppose its to each their own. But if anyone here is implying that X1 or wii u has a substantial amount of exclusives that ps4 doesn't they're smoking crack. But ps4 as is is perfectly on par with exclusive selection to any of its predecessors and this 'ps4 has no games' nonsense is getting more laughable by the day.
