Just like every other year we'll complain. But one fact remains:
We'll all BUY the game and enjoy it.
See the thing is, you're deluded. In your head there's a division, Xbox owners and Playstation owners, while in reality there are Gamers.
I'll be a Wii U owner tomorrow, and Xbox ONE owner by fall.
My first PS3 game last gen was, *drumrolls* Resistance: Fall of Man. . .
It wasn't delayed. A release date was never announced.
A release date was never announced though, so how could there be a delay?
Besides, do you really expect the best games to release so soon? The fall is already jam packed. You have to wait for the really good games. As gamers, I thought we'd be accustom to that by now.
and so we continue to wait for E3 :/ urgh!
I like Id tech 5 technique. . more devs should employ that technique. The dynamic resolution, only if they have to.
This feature is perfect for multiplayer. I can imagine playing FIFA versus my buddies, I'd love to see their facial expressions when I'm winning. I'm moving away for university which means I won't be seeing any of them in person any time soon.
I might have to switch my preorder to the Kinect bundle. It's best I buy the ONE with Kinect.
This will be my first proper Mario Kart experience. I can't resist that promotion. Now, do I choose Pikmin 3, Windwaker HD or Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate?
I'd get a wii U in within a blink of an eye if Metroid Wii U is announced.
I'm so glad.
Shout to Jens Matthies & MachineGames!
"Outside of the more aggressive dynamic framebuffer on the Xbox One, there's little to separate it from the PS4 game."
Id Tech engine has got all sorts of tricks up it sleeve.
It takes a detailed analysis to inform us of the minor differences that the majority of gamers would never be able to detect.
So basically Id tech prioritizes performance over anything else. 60Hz or nah.
MachineGames did a fantastic Job.
I want to go all digital for new gen, apart from a few exceptions like sports games. The digital prices aren't encouraging tho'
If you're someone who doesn't play a lot of games. It isn't too bad for you. But, if you're one who plays various types of games. . . Then we might just have a problem.
I'm getting my Xbox ONE next month. I want to play Ryse but it is still €59.99 after 6 months. I'm sure it's probably more expen...
It's funny when someone says , "Microsoft aren't doing it out of the goodness of their heart". Like, we've got something beyond a business relationship going on. I suppose fanboys believe game companies are their friends.
The game should speak for itself.
It doesn't need hype. This is how people hype a game and then get disappointed.
Most people buy their games based on reviews. If the reviews don't correlate with your expectations, we'd be the first to call the game a flop.
The game looks like fun. Let's just wait and see.
I don't see anything wrong with his tweets. The "fans" are the ones trying to provoke him.
There are certain games that would have benefited from better hardware. Some games ran poorly last gen, like the original Mass Effect, the amount of texture pop-in was unreal, no pun.
I say there's room for every game. New IPs and remastered alike. We have new IPs on the way already.
I don't feel like I've experienced the best console yet. I feel like this current gen will be the best for me.
"Microsoft are not doing this out of the goodness of their hearts"
What company does anything "out of the goodness of thier heart"?
It is a business. It is suppose to be about mutual benefits.
They make money, in return we get a product and service. There's nothing more to it.
They're not responsible for you. They're not obliged to care about you.
The core game-play will be the same. But the Nemesis system isn't as full fledged like it is on the next gen consoles. It is scaled down.
:)
I wonder why they use decimal points. Whatever happened to whole numbers. If you're giving a 7 give it, if it's an 8 give it.
