Erogamer Update: Epic Games president Michael Capps claims he misspoke during a Q&A session at the Tokyo Game Show today when he said, "If there were a next Gears of War, that will be for the next console generation, whenever that is."

yeah... disc 1 has odst campaign and fire fight and the reach beta (the extras option is blacked out from the main menu)
the second disc has all the 23 halo 3 muliplayer maps, forge, theater etc...
i think treyarch is doing a good job with that ... while iw has turned mw into an action movie
no spoilers at all ... the premise is the same as the first gameplay trailer ... they are chasing a guy in the heat of gunfire ... and my god its awesome right from scene one
and soap sounds like gerrard butler somehow... not bad
oh my god that was awesome... the ending was brilliant... he jumped out the window and took him down onto the car... and the environment is huge !!! ... i didnt think all of that area was playable but damn it was.. respect for iw ... this looking hot
so you have a prob with the replays, the menu system, the "optional" rewind feature and the car sounds and the lighitng...
but you like the graphics, the physics, the car models, the 60 fps and the low load times and the damage roll overs ...
judging from that the ACTUAL in game stuff is pretty solid huh...
onyx is a possibility if they go by the books...
but i'm interested in seeing what sort of face lift halo will get from halo reach ... more mature-ish i hope ... but the fun factor shouldnt be toned down for that expense
at all... the only reason ea has big revenues is coz it has games that come out on a yearly basis on multiple platforms which also cater to previous gen consoles .... if ms bought out ea for lets say 10 or even 12 billion how will they get any returns if they turn key franchises of ea into single platform exclusives ...
ea's strenght is its multiplatform multigen catalouge no profits at all for ms if it turns it exclusive to one system

the part where gabe and the xiang (?) chick present their case to the internal affairs and how you jump from mission to mission ... really good stuff ... even sf 2 was good ... and i remember it came in TWO discs
never played the one on ps2 though but the psx one had 1 vs 1 split screen... and electric tasers that fry people alive ... how could you not love that game
