Comments like this are honestly embarrassing. People spent weeks trying to bully and push people away from buying the Switch 2, yet it became the fastest selling launch ever. It outsold the Steam Deck in ONE WEEK.
You mean $450? And it's miles ahead of the Switch 1, stop lying.
Some of you need to leave the echo chambers.
Casual audiences do not give a flying you-know-what about the overblown backlash and clickbait that people tried to do with the Switch 2. It's insanely popular, just like the OG Switch.
Don't get your news from clickbait TikTokers/YouTubers, only go to the source (Nintendo) or reliable new outlets like IGN.
No game is $90 on the Switch 2, and they will never go there. Most games will be under $80, too.
That is absolutely a non-starter.
The ROG Xbox Ally X could be $1,000 at launch (the non-Xbox version with slightly weaker hardware just went up to $900), which makes it a very niche product that doesn't even play most Xbox games (only 7% of the Xbox library is compatible aka Play Anywhere)
Switch 2 launched with Mario Kart World, BOTW, TOTK, Cyberpunk 2077, Split Fiction, Civ VII, Bravely Default HD, Yakuza 0, Hitman, etc., which is an insane lineup for any console let along at launch.
Mario Kart alone pushes sales for any console; look at the Switch, nearly half of every Switch owner bought the game, and that wasn't even a new entry.
You just said the first week of sales. It already sold 3M or so on the first day alone, and there's already been multiple restocks.
This isn't slowing down, not by a long shot. The thing sold out nearly everywhere and has already sold through restocks.
The Switch 2 has the best-selling launch. Of all-time. It shattered the PS4 record.
They somehow have at least eight or nine different studios across the world with roughly 500+ people there. Development must be a mess behind the scenes at this place. Their last original project was released in 2021, most likely done in 2020 if not for COVID, which means these projects are probably over five years old or close to it by now.
Oh look, another user who suspiciously only submits articles from this website, and of course it's clickbait nonsense.
With a 5080, you are a very, very, veeery small minority in the grand scheme of things (0.2% of people on Steam even have one)
The Switch 2 is going to break records on launch day, so that's not happening.
Capcom could have easily made their game release on the full cart, just like Cyberpunk 2077 or the Marvelous published titles are doing. Plus, the faster carts are only being made in 64GB capacity currently, so blame that on the manufacture. I hate this game key card stuff just as much as anyone, but people really need to blame the correct parties as a whole when they criticize it.
@chrisx comments like this are always hilarious, because I have zero doubt you've turned a blind eye to what Sony or Microsoft have done that is anti-consumer just for a gotcha moment. It's the same when people piled on Nintendo for drift issues, meanwhile the other two have the exact same problem even into this current generation, yet I don't hear nearly as much flack coming Sony or Microsoft's way.
Sureee it did. Also, this isn't on Nintendo; the cart only comes in 64GB format due to the speeds needed and that's all that is currently manufactured right now. You would have criticized Nintendo had they stuck with the same speeds of the Switch 1 from 2017, so it doesn't matter.
Besides, this is about to be the biggest console launch of all-time regardless of what ragebait YouTubers and TikTokers post about. I dislike the game key card system, but this is on C...
Cancelled multiple games due to an over-obsession for GaaS, repeatedly raised the price of their consoles, raised the price of games to $70, and now repeatedly increase the price of their online services, all while having a severe lack of First Party games that are exclusive to their system.
Sony has gotten so arrogant this generation, and all it takes is losing the good will of their fanbase to start losing people left and right. With the rise of portable PCs and Xbox pot...
If Xbox players bought games, or had more Xbox's sold, then they would get the games 🤷♂️
"Planned for" aka probably 2028 after a delay
This isn't even coming out on PS5, or at least it's getting a cross-platform release of some kind. Game development is getting pretty insane with how long it is taking for certain genres.
The PS5 has been handicapped by Sony's misguided ideologies and bad business decisions, and this is another aspect of it.
Once again, that fluff language. "Players" on a service that offers free trials, as well as counting people who booted up the game for a total of five minutes is dubious at best, manipulated at worst.

"According to a report" they act as if this isn't in the literal first setup of the console.
It's not hidden. It's right there.
