i'm very sure sony is working very hard to bring out the ps4 asap.
having it on store shelf's for even a month or two before the competition could give it massive sale's boost

not too happy with this news, nordic have a steep hill to clime if they want the fans to be happy as they have never produced anything close to a AAA+ title which is never a good thing.

Sony has payed Square Enix an undisclosed amount of money as the project hit a snag.
sony's support has kept the project on track and made it exclusive for PS 3&4
it' might be only a timed exclusive, but fans of the series remember the series Playstation heritage.
i'm looking forward to see the next installment with 8gb i'm guessing the ps4 version will become quite the looker and hopefully a lot more open

the most basic change would be to just add PS4 contend and keep price and support for all other platforms just the same.

Epic still has a few kinks to work out, but i'm sure they will produce a nice 3rd party engine.
