Does anyone care about Eurogamer/Edge these days?
MS should go back to making PC software.
Not one 360 game ever rated 10 on IGN or Gamespot (the 2 biggest gaming sites), let alone both at the same time. MGS4 is the best game this gen hands down.
Honestely giving MGS4 an 8 and GTA IV a 10 like Eurogamer/Edge is a crime.

Even Kojima pokes fun at the 360 in game: Snake uses a DS3, there is a PS3 and a PSP on board the plane; and he praises Bluray with a big lol.

Frame rate drops bellow 30? Never seen that, you must be confusing with NG2.
Also the initial install is 8 min, one time only; at the end of each act there is a small one of 2 or 3 min. The game is only possible on the PS3 and the 360 could never get a game like this:

MGS4 is a master piece, one of the best games ever.
IGN and Gamespot, the two most important gaming sites rated it 10/10. No game on the 360 ever got a 10 from these sites, maybe that´s why he is pissed. (GTA does not count).

I think the 360 has obvisously reached its peak, at least graphic wise, since no game on the console could yet surpass Gears, Gears 2 its the top graphical performance it will get using the UE3. There will be improvements but in other areas such as AI and physics.
On the PS3 side there is still many work to be done, just by looking at some games coming and existing we know there is a lot potential left: Killzone2, Resistance2, GT5, Uncharted, Wardevil, Wipeout hd, FFXIII...the gr...
