I think 60fps should beat out 1080p and NOT 720p. That should be the standard res number of these "HD" systems. Anything lower is pure laziness on the devs part. PUSH THAT EXTRA BIT!

If the PS3 can't upscale anything, then why, on my 1080p TV, does the res change with almost every game? MW is displayed at 1080p on my tv (even if that is not what the actual res is...600p), so is W@W, and MGS4, whereas most other games change to 720p when that's all the game supports. Now, tell me again how/why the PS3 can't upscale...?
Damn straight. For such a "great dev team", they sure are not putting all their effort into every aspect. And don't give me "I'd rather have higher framerate and low res" because you all damn well know if something came out in this time period that looked like anything from the Atari or NES era, but played smooth, you (myself included) would most likely hate its existance.

I just want to know, since TVs now top at 1080 i/p, why is everything being rendered at a lower res? If it's advertised that a game is presented at 720p/1080i/p, then that should be what it is and not something WAAAY lower. I understand if it takes up more storage space on disk, but is there any other reasons for it? Why are these new games coming out under 720p/1080i? And on top of that, who are these people that keep spouting these tidbits of resolutions, and how are they even able to figur...
It's great that they're making sequels, but I hope they are not biting off more than they can chew with BOTH in production. The original was badass!

You're pretty much right about that. Those movies are probably the closest they will get to what would be acceptable as GTA. And even if you tried splicing all the good parts of those movies together, it would probably come out all haphazard, which film critics and, more importantly, the GTA fans would despise.
Even if some of the PS3 games are upconverted, what do you think the majority of 360 games do?.........NEXT!
I don't think that a GTA movie would work. I mean, look at POSTAL. Its got a funny scene where everyone is shooting at anything/everything, but it's a terrible movie. GTA might have the same outcome.
Extinction was a horrible RE movie. It should never had been made.
How does this second beta go about? Since I already have/had the 1st beta, am I guaranteed a slot in the 2ed or is this another promo-type beta giveaway?

Sony has to go down M$ path for, you guessed it, sales. Given, the practice of making exclusive DLC sucks, but when almost every other multiplat gets DLC for 360, it makes a slight rift in the gaming community ( bringing about flamewars and whatnot.) It does suck, but at least Sony is trying to make SOME sort of profit instead of all the extras/slaes going to Microsoft.
He meant that the movie/ most of the plot revolved around The Joker, not so much Batman. He did not mean The Joker IS Batman. Everyone knows that The Dark Knight is another title which refers to Batman.
Why get on Sony's case for doing what M$ has done since its inception? Plus, Sony is just trying to please its fans since all the aforementioned multiplat games extra DLC (GTAIV,Fallout 3, etc...) have yet to make their way PS3 side.
