You might be better off waiting till the end of October to get the GOTY edition, since it will have the game+all expansions & updates+ will only cost about $20-$30 overall (instead of nearly $40 for buying all the packs, not including the original price of the game)
I just hope that other series that have jumped to the next gen systems (GoW, SH, hell maybe even the remakes of RE) get a nice facelift, just like how God of War 1 & 2 are getting the treatment + trophy support!
Keep in mind that petition many people are backing. It may not be everyone, but a chunk of the gaming community will still be playing this game once that launches. That is, unless, if Activision fixes its image/sales approach.

Nickleback is a HORRIBLE band with NO talent. Sounds EXACTLY the same as most crap music that comes out now. The only good type of music is stuff from the mid 90's and back (all the way to the early/mid 60's.) For all the disagrees for posts like this, go back and listen to your Linkin Park, Papa Roach, Green Day, and all that other crap for mindless pop zombies.

I have a feeling that something is up with this "free" game. If the listed date for release of GH:VH is correct (12/22/09) yet with this pre-order, you get it by 9/1/09, is this the FULL retail game, or some sort of rip-off demo? If it's the full game, great, but something's fishy about a 2-3 month gap...

Quit being an ass and still choosing sides when THERE ARE NO SIDES! (unless you work for Activision) People saying things like that just make me LOATH gamer mentality anymore. Why not just get behind the cause, and not become a cause of strife and hatred. And price DOES matter, unless you're a spoiled rich kid who spends money like water. People STILL have to make a living, buy food for themselves, pay bills, etc... so, again, price DOES matter.

You would think that, but with MGS:R and the new Castlevania coming out, I have a sneaking suspicion that Kojima/Konami are too wrapped up in other thigs at the moment. I WISH they would give a straight answer on this, instead of every few months "maybe.....maybe....maybe ...."

Gotta agree with you on that. I bet that is their EXACT game plan if it is not implemented within 2 or 3 months.

Just a matter of opinion/choice. As they say, "to each his own." When I did have a 360, I bought and liked Gears, but for me, its lasting appeal wasn't much. Then again, I sold my Xbox about 2 or 3 months after the purchase. I haven't tried Gears2 yet... is it much better?

Thats because there's no good processing of ANY of this game info we ever get. There's no "team" that gets this info and makes sure it's correct, just a bunch of random people posting what they found or, possibly, made up.
