That the original xbox was a failure, for a debut console 25-27 million consoles sold is not too bad an effort, when you look at other companies for that generation (dreamcast - awesome console by the way, gamecube) the xbox did a reasonable job, if you compare it to the ps2 then yeah you would say it failed but it did what it was supposed to do, put microsoft on the map as a competitve console manufacturer. Im getting bored with sequals, a vast majority of them are the same games but with a make over and a few improvements here and there, what we need are new i.p's. Im not saying this and other sequels are poor games, just more of the same
Why so much negativity against the 360? 17.1 million owners and over 10 million xbox live users will disagree with you, the 360 is a very very good gaming machine and at this moment in time has a better software catalogue than any of the other 2 consoles on this generation, i just dont understand why there is so much hate, it reminds me of when your at school comparing c0ck sizes, end of the day all do their jobs and all are fun to play with

360 some credit for what they are acheiving, everyone though that as soon as the ps3 was released that they would sell like hot cakes but to their credit microsoft are holding their own, still in the leading pack and have not been steam rollered like many people predicted world wide. On the street, neither blu ray nor hd dvd will win the so called format war as me as well as the vast majority of people are just not prepared to tade in dvd9 just yet, its not been that long since vhs was replaced, in my personal opinion, Sony have made a massive gamble in "bribing" warner to go blu ray exclusive, what with the looses they are making on each ps3 sold (i cant believe for one minute that the consoles are currently making money), if this blu ray stunt doesnt pull off ...

exept i would have bioshock at number one and mario number 2 and i would swap orange box with halo 3 (halo 3 mutliplayer is simply awesome), as good as orange box is, i could help but feel the game looked dated although the game physics were outstanding

Not AAA but its worth a punt if you can pick up a used copy, 64players online too which cant be bad, you get to control this little bad ass radio controlled helicopers and suicide bombing radio controlled cars, it is unfortunate that once again the ps3 version gets delayed, seems to be a common theme
