In the display settings on your PS3 config it to output to 720p; now go into the setting in Cry2 and turn down the brightness to zero. And that's it! It almost looks I identical to the 360 version. :)

apparently it outputs to 1080p which is probably why it looked so bad and ran like shit.

EA/DICE and Sony have a special relationship so I have no doubts that BF3 will look better on the PS3 than the 360. The PC that's the mother fuckin' beast. I'll be getting it for PS3/PC.
