just so you know the PS3 scaller couldn't work properly to scale in all directions in certain resolutions ( for games ).
This was a solution that worked but very few games took advantages of it, the games that did ( wipeout hd , for example ) looked beautifull ..it was a good idea on theory because it would have needed each dev to work on each cell core...but nobody had time to do so.

unfortunatly this is true , forza 5 has pre baked lightning and isn't even capable of doing dya/night transistions properly ( or at all ).
Aside from the number of polygons , there is nothing next-gen in Forza 5. And by that i mean technical features .. On that aspect , driveclub and even gran turismo 6 have much more impressive tech both on the driving side or in the graphical side.
I mean just look at Forza 5 lightning mod...
Just watch the credits of the game and you'll know that rockstar instead paid sony music & columbia for the right to use the music.
So yeah he'll suck it up because somone on his side did something wrong , not rockstar.

First, kojima decides everything on those matters , including the cast.
NOBODY at konami can tell him what to do , especially on MGS , Better , kojima actually orders other konami teams.
Second , kojima himself doesn't agree with the western mentality you described...that's why he seeked another japanese studio to finish MGRising , instead of giving it to a western studio ( and konami has plenty of western studios ...
