it is better on 360 than ps3 I think carmack put more work into the 360 version but I'm not sure. the pc verison reigns supreme though and destroys everything on consoles in the visual department even without unlocking the advanced graphics features(even with all its problems running on an nvidia gpu it works great). forza 4 has better graphics than gt5(i have the forza 4 demo) but gt5 has more features(such as night racing) and more cars & tracks(even though some tracks and 800 cars where ported straight form ps2)
the engine sounds in forza are also better than that of gt5 so its really a matter of opinion gt5 is better than forza 4 in some ways and forza is better than gt5 in others

thanks, I've been saying this tikmes without number consoles where outdated at launch and this wil be the case with "next generation consoles as well" pc will always be a few steps ahead of consoles.

yep it did by pc standards even bulletstorm on pc looks better than that(UC3 did you know that ? there're quite a number of pc games that makes all console games look last generation so it all depends on what you mean.
but by console standards quite a number of console games look amazing such as crysis 1, crysis 2, gears 3, killzone 2/3, uncharted 2/3, RAGE, skyrim etc
most multiplats that have made it to pc over the past few years look better than anyth...

doesn't killzone 3 have anti-alising issues and drops framereate when under stress ? ifnfact killzone 3 has much more jaggies than killzone 2 did simply because MLAA doesn't suite the artstyle.
how about infamous 2 that has no AA at all as well I don't hear anyone complain about it or resistance 3 that runs 960x704 that's horr...

new consoles are needed....they have been needed since 2006 thats just how outdated consoles are
a new triology is good as long as the games remain good. look at assasins creed we get a new one every year and each one is always mind-blowing so nobody really minds infact most of us welcome it.
its only games like COD that have been the EXACT same game since COD 4 that need to stop there have been no improvements and its the same exact story.
compared to the pc verison it FAILS hard. it can only mathc the pc version running medium settings but even medium with some aa and af beats it

the ps3 won't look nearly half as good as the pc version which will be a generation ahead of the console versions when maxed out. dice has stated this themselves the pc version will make the ps3 and 360 versions look last gen but thats only because consoles have been outdated for years now so its not even fair to compare the two.
the ps3 verison may be slighly better than the 360 version though. but if those screens are from the ps3 version then BF3 ps3 is the best lookin...
its much worse on ps3 than 360 even without the game being installed on the 360s hdd it has MUCH less texture pop-ins than the ps3 version with the 360 version insatlled on hdd texture pop-ins are barely noticable at times not at all. the ps3 version of rage also looks worse than the 360 verison and has much longer load times than the 360 verison running off disk and not intalled on HDD. ID needs to patch the ps3 version

the texture res and quality) will still be low(like all console games compared to pc standards) because textures are streamed to gpu through VRAM the hdd install just makes streaming from hdd to vram faster.
higher res textures take more time to stream(and more vram) and the larger the amount of vram available the more textures you can stream to the gpu at one go.

it all depends on what difficulty settings you're playing on they are oth equally difficult when you max out the difficulty

well the brand name is bigger than ever but the fact that there are only few exclusives is the only problem I have with the console aside from it being a console that is as you all know I don't like consoles very much but I actually hate the ps3 a little less than 360 because it at least has more exclusives
the only thing saving MS is that the average gamer doesn't care about exclusives or even know what exclusives are. most people care more about multiplatform games ...
