Aw, I'm more bummed about the gore removal than the costumes. D:
It's demon blood, that's kosher, let it flow~
(let the record show that I know that they aren't actually demons)
There's a lot more people not talking about it than talking about it.
Just like you, Sonic!
I hear it's big enough that it could have just been 2 games. Maybe that would have worked out better, with some changes to make it fit that mold better. Idk, I haven't played it much.
I'd like to play it but I just can't put in the time. I already play JRPGs and they take so dang long. Every other big game also feels the need to be extra long cause people lose their [doodie] over 12 hour games.
😬Gamingbolt....
What a surprise. They Pokemon'd the Pokemon game.
Rebirth is so good. It's a lot of fun and the journey is a ride. It's incredibly character driven and every scene is flavored by the kind of people each one of them are.
In a way I agree but also I'm way behind on Trails.
I do like me my dense 8-15 hour games.
There's a lot of everything.
Vomit
I really hope it's someone like Shawn Layden stepping in. Someone who's not only focused on 4+ year cycles of massive games. Shorter games are great too and shouldn't take the better part of a console generation to make.
I appreciate that many more people are agreeing with the grammar correction and disagreeing with Barlos.
Based on what they've said about Rebirths development getting a lot of the ground work out of the way I think the next game will arrive surprisingly quickly.
Remake to Rebirth was 4 years. I don't think it'd take more than 3, optimistically I'd say even sooner.
It does have a long delay between a button press and action starting on screen. I don't know why people are trying to gaslight the situation, I experienced it first hand. I know what kind of delay my TV has and I know how to use Gamemode. It's not even a subtle delay, I would guess nearly 150-200ms which is sluggish, especially in a soul-like or, what SB has been compared most to, Nier Automata. Nier is responsive AF.
I played the demo on my tv which has very low latency, I've played lots of games there, I know how it feels. There is 100% a pretty long time between you pressing a button and Eve performing an action.
It's pretty cool. The way the game teaches you new abilities is spaced out nicely so it's not all thrown at you at once and meanwhile you're getting all this cool setup for the story and setting. I do notice how long it takes for an attack to start after you hit the button and hope that's fixed. Movement does feel a little stiff and that might be because of the delay as well. Aside from that it looks like it'll be a fun game and a bit more of a Souls-like than I thought it...
I play on a very low latency screen and yeah, there's a lot of delay from the button press to the attack starting. It could be a design choice but I think it doesn't feel ideal. I want the character to react as I do and not have to consider if I think there'll be an opening or enemy attack in the next 200 milliseconds.
Edit: I'm seeing a lot of gaslighting trying to happen. Seemingly from people who haven't played the Demo. There is, without a doubt a big delay b...
On one hand the constume change wasn't HUGE. (though percentage wise maybe it was) On the other: Yeah, don't freaking say one thing and then flip flop by using a patch. That's rubbish and I hope this shows that even if it's small it's not okay to do that.
