Making an internal bluray makes sense, it is for people who don't already have a console and are going to make the choice between the 360 and the ps3. Lots of people choose the ps3 because of the bluray, so this could help ms quite a bit with getting new consumers.

I am a xbox fan but I do not think dropping the hard drive was the way to go. The first xbox had one and it really helped it. Sure the xbox has a dvd-rom that is faster than the bluray in ps3. But having a hard drive available is always better.

I think they should bit the bullet and let developers use it, and dropping the 20gb to about 30 bucks.

But judging from the menu in one of the shots this is the wii version right?
I want to see the ps3 or 360 version.

Split it vertically? lol
They could do it like bungie did on halo. split it horizontally but keep the 16:9 ratio, making black bars on the side.
At least it should be an option.

Can't say i'm impressed. The controls where better than I expected but I was not expecting much. The game play got repetitive after about 2 minutes. No story at all(at least in the demo).

I bet the "arcade" users would buy even more XBLA games if that version of the console had a hard drive, with the 256 mb one they can only fit 1-5 games. Just plain stupid.

If that is the biggest problem I would say the chances for a x360 version is pretty big.

Just bought myself a copy from play-asia, tanks for the tip! Looking forward to playing this with my GF.

Ahh, thought it was the N64 title at first glance...

Because people with both systems want to know the differences before choosing what version to pick up.
Sadly here on this site it usually does not end well. But with the new splitting of the comment sections it should not be as bad as before. Kudos to n4g staff.

crisper is better. anti aliasing is supposed to remove jaggies WITHOUT losing other information in the picture.
Motion blur is supposed to blur objects moving fast, not blur everything on the screen.

With the two pictures you posted I have to say that the first looks better. Sharper and if you look at the dark areas they also have more detail in the first one. Just my 5 cents.

I saw someone on the team in an other post saying that both the pc version and the console version will be the same in terms of graphics. Except for the resolution. The console version will run at 720p I think it was 60 fps but I'm not completely sure about that, maybe someone else can remember that?

here is a link to gametrailers if someone has not already seen it:

You said you tried the demo of bioshock and did not like it. So did I. But the demo is not a good representation for the game. I borrowed it from a friend and the things I did not like in the demo was not in the full game. Like beeing bombarded by enemy's and flying bots. So if I where you I would give it another chance. It really has a great story.

I got it when it came out. I was kind of surprised not more people downloaded it. It's pretty cool, only complaint is that the sub woofer sounds are way to high. I have the ingame sound at the lowest level and still my whole house shakes from the explosions. (partly due to my svs woofer :)

Anyway I just called support and got 800 points as a compensation.

I agree, way to many people and reviews complain about games beeing to easy, then why the hell not play it on a harder difficulty?!
Surely if you are an experienced reviewer who plays a lot of games you should not play a game on normal when there usually are two difficulties higher than that.
When you hear a game is short its often just played on a to easy difficulty. Making very long games now takes alot of time. Since developers have to make much more detail than they used to...

The 360 has sold about 0.55m and the ps3 1.75m in japan. Its not selling to good but I cant say the ps3 impresses to much either considering its dominance in this region the last decade. Nintendo really is back.

I can confirm that this is just bullshit.

First if you send in you console for repair you don't send in your hard drive, just the box itself.
All your content is connected to your gamertag and nothing else. So if you take your hd to someone else and log in with your gamertag you should be able to play all your content just fine.

I just changed my console in on ebgames. There was a trade where you gave them your premium and 5 games and got an elite. I ha...

And if you wanted you could bare with 2 DVD's to install if it was needed am I right?
Also if you want to run crysis with everything maxed in 1920x1200 a sli GTX will still not be enough. But thats one of the nice things with computers. All your games get better graphics when you upgrade. You can use higher resolutions and more aliasing.

I really don't think we need all the space of hd formats for games yet. Some of the need for space has actually gone down because there is less use of CGI in newer games.
Crysis takes up about 6 gb on a hd. Don't you think if this hardcore, extremely graphic intensive game would come on 2 DVD's( or more) if it really needed to? People with money to have such a rig would surely have the hard drive space for it.You could just install the first one and use the other while you play, it woul...
