I play Paladins so this looks interesting. If there will be a beta of it I will definitely sign up and see how it is, though I'm not really a fan of 3rd person shooters, but I'll check it out.
In the features trailer I didn't see anything about direct storage, but there are 2 files I found dstorage.dll and dstoragecore.dll where my game is installed so it looks like it does support it.
I mean, if it's on PC and you buy it on Steam you should only need Steam that's it nothing more. Same with GOG, other game stores like Ubishit, Battle.net, etc I don't use but you get the picture.
