And no PS3 games are ever overrated, right? Only Xbox 360 games and multiplatform games.
No, let's not trust the professional game developers. If the PS3 fanboys who have never used a 360 say it is maxed out, then IT IS MAXED OUT!
Jesus Christ, you delusional PS3 fanboys are like little children shouting out insults. Xbot! Flopza! Crapbox 3fixme! You are a disgrace to PS3 owners everywhere. Hell, you're even a disgrace to PS3 fanboys from other websites, you're so bad. A great reason not to buy a PS3 is to avoid being associated with you people in any way.
All 3 Forza games (which came out since the last main GT release) have scored AAA on MetaCritic.
Forza 1 - 92
Forza 2 - 90
Forza 3 - 92
The last GT scored an 89 on MetaCritic. Not even AAA. So the Forza series is more spectacular AND has more releases in the same period of time. Make that ANY releases at all.
Forza 3
GameSpot - 9.5
IGN - 9.4
MetaCritic - 92
And here are my GT5 predictions:
GameSpot - 9.0
IGN - 9.4
MetaCritic - 90
360 Version: 9.0
PS3 Version: 8.0
How are you going to spin that, PS3 fanboys?
These are holiday sales. The PS3 is not going to sell 200,000 more than the 360 in one week at any other time of the year. It will be lucky to sell 50,000 more than the 360 any given week, let alone outsell it at all soon. The effect of the price drop is not going to last forever. And if the 360 apparently had such a weak lineup in 2009, and it's still selling this close to the PS3, imagine how well it will sell in 2010 when it has a killer lineup.
I was talking about when the Arcade originally released in Fall 2008. The PS3 did not outsell the 360 for 11 months after that. And there's no need to resort to petty insults unless you don't have any real argument.
The only website that even considered Demon's Souls for GOTY, other than PS3 fansites, is GameSpot, and GameSpot has not been credible since the Jeff Gerstmann incident back in 2007.
One of the only outlets to give GTA IV GOTY? Are you joking? GTA IV got GOTY from:
GameTrailers
VGAs
GiantBomb
Kotaku
Game Informer
New York Times
Electronic Gaming Monthly
IGN AU
Console Master
Gamervision
Thunderbolt
Extreme Gamer
Los Angeles Times
Time Magazine
Atomic Gamer
Games Master
What If Gaming
Team Xbox
Entertainment Merchants Association
Eurogamer DE
...
So 360 owners can't spend time with Mass Effect 2 and Splinter Cell: Conviction because they're also on the PC? That doesn't make any sense. Why should they be removed from the list?
Are these the Top 5 PS3 releases of the year?
Killzone 2 - 2.16 million in 10 months
Uncharted 2 - 2.31 million in 1.5 months
inFAMOUS - 1.20 million in 7 months
Demon's Souls - 0.36 million in 3 months
Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time - 0.59 million in 2 months
And here are the Top 5 360 releases of the year:
Halo 3: ODST - 4.18 million in 3 months
Left 4 Dead 2 - 1.99 million in 1.5 months
Forza Motorsport 3...
Please tell me you guys are just joking. There's no way someone could be THAT delusional! Or is that what happens when a brand goes from undeniable champ with the PS2, to hopelessly dead last with the PS3?
The 360 already outsold the PS3 in the US since the release of the Slim. The PS3 did not outsell the 360 in ANY region for 11 months after the release of the Arcade 360.
Mass Effect 2 alone destroys that entire list, and almost the entire 2010 lineup for the PS3 on its own.
01/26/2010!
If PS2 ranks in at #1, then the PS3 must rank in somewhere around the high 40s.
So are we to believe you've played Mass Effect 2, Heavy Rain, Alan Wake, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Fable III, and Halo: Reach?
And I wouldn't be at all surprised if FFXIII ended up running better on the 360, like 90% of multiplatform games still do.
And Best 360 Game and Best PC Game.
I stopped reading at Wii Sports.
Too bad you're getting the VASTLY inferior version of Bayonetta, though...
