You CAN'T have a legit 360 with over 120gigs. But you can hard & soft (you have to do both) mod it so you CAN use larger than a 120gig HDD. The signature is STRICTLY for being able to use the HDD on a valid 360, otherwise, if that signature isn't there, you can't connect to XBL otherwise you'll be bricked not only for not having an illegitimate HDD, but for having the OS modded as well.
EDIT: Just so you know, the 360 HDD is a standard 2.5 SATA HDD... So yes, you can hard mod...
Yes that was a recent update, but I'm usually very active in the console modding community so I'm pretty sure someone would have announced that find.

The 360 can't detect more than 120 gigs. Check out any modder. They can mod a 3rd party HDD into the 360, but if its larger than 120 gigs, the extra space won't be recognized.

It's a real wonder looking at how they do these things. Just by looking at them you can tell that they were exhausted even at that point. Several hundred cars later, they must be near breaking point. Just look at Kasunori's eyes. They are bloodshot red half the time and he's constantly blinking (a sign of being tired).

I was 7 at the time. At first I thought it was the most boring thing I have ever played, but I realized (wow, these cars are so real) because they looked, and sounded so good compared to other games that had "humms" for the engine noises. I still love GT today and I'm looking forward to the next release.
Anyway, here are my thoughts:
1000 cars? Awesome. I will probably only use 500 AT MOST (throughout the whole life cycle of the game) but different people prefer different cars, so the option of choosing the 500 most favorite cars will differ from person to person. I unlocked over 300 cars on GT4, and I don't even own the game, so that tells you something.

That game would be perfect if you didn't have to go through each level twice. 1 with each character. It makes it feel a lot more slow. I know you can go ahead and progress with whichever character you want, but you would know a lot more of the story with 1 person than the other. I would have preferred a "choose your character" type of thing in the BEGINNING of the game. Go through the game, beat it then use the other character.

Larrabee tech (according to this presentation) is very similar to the Cell tech. Vector based, multi cored/parallel technology. The main difference is the L2 cache on the Cell is a lot smaller.

Really sir, tell me, how am I "stupid." Last time I checked MS doesn't do firmware updates often. In fact the only firmware changes they have ever done have been in major OS updates. The 360 OS wouldn't be the first OS to have a "memory" (not RAM memory, but data memory) limit, so I don't see why it isn't impractical for this to not have a 250 HDD.
Old school OS's had storage capacity and ram limits simply because it didn't know how to allocate or work with the data....
