Its not your fault because you do not know but Simbin is just as respected in the PC world as Polyphony is in the console world. GTR2/GTL is one of the best driving sims ever made. GTR Evolution carries on that greatness. Race Pro should also be pretty good. Don't be so harsh because it is a 360 game or does not look good. Simbin is a proven developer. This is coming from a PS3 fan.

Please don't get me wrong I do not disagree that KZ2 is getting hyped a little too much for its own good. I just think its ridiculous that you can't enjoy something because it looks good. When I first played Gran Turismo 5 Prologue I just starred at the cars in amazement. KZ2 was the same. When I first played Gears I was in awe. Hey Ryudo, I ENJOYED the KZ2 MP Beta because it had great graphics, gameplay, sound, etc etc. GOTY 09 who knows. I hope the full game is even more enjoyable. Thats what I love about games you enjoy them. Some people have not forgotten the point of games.

I agree that Race Pro does not look as good as GTR2 did when it came out but it still should be decent. Also I forgot and I second the fact that SIMBIN IS THE KINF OD FORCE FEEDBACK. Forget bowflex get GTR2 and a Logitech G25. Best workout ever. Play video games and get toned biceps and shoulders. No joke after an hour of straight playing your arms get limp. I hope this comes out before GT5 because it would be a great way to tie me over. If it comes out after my time is going to be split.
In terms of graphics and detail GT is in a league of it own. But in terms of physics and immersion Simbin/GTR is leaps and bound ahead of GT. Imagine Grid with amazing driving physics and toned down graphics. I think Simbin realizes that the console market is too valuable to pass up. For those that do not know GTR2 and GTRE are some of the most respected PC racing sims on the market. The other heavy hitters are rFactor and Live for Speed. If this PS3 project is anything like GTR Evolution I will be happy.

I think I am more happy that GTAIV did not win than MGS4 lost. FO3 was a great game so at least it deserves to win. At this point it their opinion but at least it is a decent one. Also look at all the other awards almost every award that MGS4 was entered in it either won the award or won the readers choice. It also won the readers choice for GOTY. Don't be sad MGS fans I think our game got plenty of recognition.
How does this get approved. This video was posted almost a month ago. Not that it is not a good video but I think I have seen it like 3 times. Whatever. Anyways only the car that wind best in show gets put into the game. The previous winners were the Art Morison Corvette that is currently in the game and some crazy Audi TT. I want MGS4 to win but I do not think it is going to. I would say Fallout 3 or GTAIV is going to win. Hopefully not GTAIV. That game really left me disappointed. FO3 was great but kinda like ok I beat the game and unclocked almost everything worth unlocking now what. Same feeling with GTAIV. MGS4 has the whole package. The game came out in the summer and I am still playing it (as well as most of the people on my friends list). The replayability of that game is amazing.

I really think that Co op (and/or SP/MP) is the one part of KZ2 that is missing. Not that it can't be great without it but it would be out of this world with it. Maybe in a future patch.

FirstKnight, do not overstep my comments. You can think that Forza has better physics but 95% of the sim community knows otherwise. Forza's physics are hindered by the absolutely rubbish track recreation and lack of a proper steering wheel. If Forza had those two things I am sure we may look at it in a different light. Forza 3 should give GT's physics a run for their money but please don't be silly and say that Forza has better physics than GT.
