I remember Socom 1 for Ps2 had that, and I thought it was an awesome little detail that made the game for me.
PSU is usually good on thier sources but like the name implies they are bias towards the PS3 and rarely give bad news. CVG is a very respectable site and magazine, that has been around for alot longer than PSU.com

Sony showed progress when they released the firmware that upscaled and smoothed out ps2 games. Granted this was done already on 360, but atleast they made an attempt
IF they were smart enough, Sony would do what Nintendo is doing and re-release all their good ps1 games. They got a quarter of them online already and I am sure RPG's and NFL(?) Blitz would be a hit.

The game is going to have killer features, in which every game will mimic on the years to come. I.E.
-Sprint option where if you sprint you can't fire (yes its in acouple games, but this time they did it right)
-One of the few games where you don't have to switch to a detonator to blow up claymores/...

Look at the success of Geometry Wars, Rub a dub, Calling all cars, and even past classics on the Wii VC.

yes it did. The game combines musix to a degree, with enemy deaths and chain reactions. I love the visuals and I can see this being a major Casual game hit.
