I'd wager that I could turn on my PS4 and switch the HDMI inputs with both respective controllers faster than you could do the same with voice commands and a remote.

Sometimes you gotta work where you gotta work. It's not your fault. But hey, just hold the hope that something better will come along if you look for it and you'll get out sooner or later.

@Trekster_Gamer: Is it your contention that because you didn't have any issues, that means no one had issues? If so, that is a highly ignorant statement to make.

Good eye. I bet that wasn't noticed by a lot of people.

Mine too, they haven't used him in far too long.

There's always something that's going to challenge and beat consoles in the livingroom. It's been happening for 30 years now. Funny, I'm still gaming on my console. Is anyone else?

I just looked that up and I have only one thing to say about it.

Toriyama needs to be fired and prevented from ever being able to make games again. This man butchered Final Fantasy to a point where only Sakaguchi could Phoenix Down it, and he's not going to. What in the hell was that bullcrap? It's just done. It's honestly just done.

It's more likely that they're going to sell the true ending as DLC or make people buy some stupid comic.

@bishop: Yeah I hear you. We're definitely on the same page.

@Qdog: PCs were always multi-use devices that just happened to also be capable of playing games. The platform has no owner, the method of distributing and marketing games is different from consoles (and actually always has been), pretty much everything down to the last silicon chip is different to a console in terms of function, implementation, and interchangeability.

Consoles are dedicated gami...

@QDog: It's not an industry standard. PC is in its own industry, console gaming is in its own industry. The two are vastly different. Just because both can play games, doesn't mean they are the same. In console gaming, backwards compatibility has never been an industry standard. Most of the consoles in the history of the industry don't have backwards compatibility.

An industry standard to me is something that has been implemented more often than it has not been im...

I love how many young gamers there are here, believing that Backwards Compatibility has always been an industry standard. Prior to the PS2, there weren't any consoles with hardware integrated backwards compatibility except for Atari's systems pre-NES. Other, external methods for cross or backwards compatibility existed, but those existed only in the form of Super Game Boy and the Sega Genesis Power Loader adapter that allowed you to play Master system games on the Genesis.

I'm not liking that "critically acclaimed" part. The quotations seem to suggest that ONLY critically acclaimed games will be playable. As we all know, reviews don't mean anything so potentially bad games could be playable so long as the critics liked it. They should just post something on the PS Blog asking what PS3 games should appear in this among waves and tally up the games with the highest votes from gamers. I personally think that that's a lot more fair than going ...

That series is still one of the best even today.

I remember when I first saw that game, my jaw dropped. When I played it, it dropped again.

Have any of you ever heard of video rendering? Games may not need 64GB, but video rendering can easily get close to that. This PC is definitely not solely for gaming.

But, if I ever had near limitless disposable income, at that point I'd just make a super computer that wouldn't need to be upgraded in my lifetime and never worry again. Put the entire casing inside a frozen meat locker so I won't have to worry about cooling and just go to town. LOL!

@PlayGamesNotConsoles: You clearly are mad. You view Mario on some kind of pedestal of quality and can't fathom any game surpassing it in sales or demand. This shakes your sensibilities to their very core and so you lash out and attack gaming as whole, saying the standards of quality have diminished all because of one game outselling a game you like more one time only.

@EcoSos3: You really have no idea what you're talking about and couldn't be more incorrect if yo...

Look at the children upset that in one instance, and likely not for an extended period, a Nintendo first party game was outsold by something else in the same genre.

Newsflash: People have varying tastes. You don't have the authority to claim that Knack is mediocre, you only have the authority to claim that you personally feel it's mediocre. Others may not. The world isn't going to rush out to buy another Mario game no matter how good you think it is, and just beca...

Honestly, who didn't see this coming? This happened with the launches of the PS3 and the 360 as well. People robbed, mugged, shot, all over plastic and silicon with an inflated value.

It's stupid, sad, and pathetic, but honestly I was waiting for this story to show up.

Is he your dad or something? Would it have been extremely difficult to say "Hey, just so you know, Rubin took over after THQ was already struggling" instead of that tangent?
