You are absolutely correct. You could, in fact, be high! Lol.
Hi, thank you! Its the concept behind the entire site, we want to give people something practical and quick to read, hope you will check it out again in future!
Hey ElleGee, in all of our review (PS4) we experienced no matchmaking, server or lag issues at all, although we are aware of the reports of people experiencing issues, especially PC. But as for our own experiences, was all smooth.
To people saying that dropping to 720p doesn't free up enough resources to make up for the extra 30fps, its meant to be implied that other effects would take a knock as well:
"or if it’s your bag, the option to run the game at 60fps with a knock to the visuals".
So maybe not just the resolution would take the knock
I didn't actually say that I think so, I was just wondering. There's a lot of noise being made around exclusives lately and what deserves to be where, so I was wondering, almost seems weird that so many people are just fine with this being an XBO exclusive. Makes you wonder if that's not a good sign for the game, meaning that people don't really care much for it compared to say... the way people went on about Tomb Raider.
Yeah, but then I also wonder how much that will bounce off the bad press that companies get because their games only run at 30fps or run at sub HD resolutions. They can now put in a bit of extra work to avoid that entire issue when they know their game may not run to the spec that people will want, and so as a PR move its sort of like "Hey kids, look it runs at 60fps, but can also run at 1080p, power to you for choosing" or something of the like.
I'd totally bounce between them depending on the game or situation, my major issue is that when I play on my PC I spend more time tweaking the settings than I do playing the game.
Who think that this is a waste of an exclusive?
I find that there is this very strange idea going around that accuracy = enjoyment in gaming. For competitive gaming if you aren't as accurate as the guys with keyboard and mouse you will most definitely get your ass handed to you in most cases, but when it comes to running around in open worlds, playing co-op or campaign, there's nothing wrong with using the perfectly fine (and incredibly comfortable, especially when combined with a couch) control method that a controller provides. ...
Haha yeah, that's as a result of the score taken as an average of the other review categories.
The game is fantastic fun though. I'm a petrolhead and a big Forza fan but I actually found myself getting bored of Horizon 1 and didn't even finish it. This however has me so hooked, the way the championship/road trip system keeps things moving along prevents it from stagnating and also allows you to enjoy both the racing AND driving elements. Great game.
That's a fantastic point that a lot of people will need to keep in mind actually. It must be said that there are a lot of gamers out there who don't really bother with online, but these days, online subs, especially PS+ are just so worth it that not many people will easily pass it up.
The issue is much bigger than booth babes, and I think that's what they are trying to get across. Many industries are just fine with it, because they are comfortable in their place in the markets.
Gaming is still finding its feet, and the industry as a whole is afraid, it's the same reason that you can watch films with rape, torture etc (such as The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), but if the anything similar, even just the basic topic of sexuality is approached in games...
EVERYTHING FROM LUCASARTS POINT-N-CLICK DEPARTMENT EVER!!
GTA 5, Halo and COD right alongside each other possibly... that is madness.
I wanted to instantly say no, but when I saw that guys actually lost their bonuses and so on as a result I was shocked. Metacritic should be about the buyers, not the developers!
The QCF Design guys are my HEROES! I LOVE THEM SO MUCH NO HOMO NO STALKER.
The top three reasons that my PSP failed me was:
1. The first dead pixel on the screen.
2. The second dead pixel on the screen.
3. The third dead pixel on the screen.
Yup, it had 3.
Well it was initially, but has taken on a life of its own. I like how that happened.
I've never played any of the Saints Row games but this does look like a very fun place to start, although I heard that there are a lot of bugs and issues, so I really don't mind waiting and picking this up at a later stage at a lower price
I'm finally starting to really feel like I wish that I had a Wii U sitting next to my other consoles. The line-up now is quite strong. Still, a future bundle for a good price could really be on the cards.
