Story telling in linear games like these is quiet different to that of a slower paced Rpg's. You just can't take the risk to bore the players with even more cut-scenes only to give exposition to an enemy who's role in the game doesn't really change things that much anyway. This is a video game after all, not a movie.

Its kickstarter was announced not the game. Usually a game of this caliber takes around 4-5 years to make, so I don't know why people are already expecting footage of a game that is still in pre-production.

The game's still coming out this year in Japan, so the delay has nothing to do with polishing it. The delay is probably due to the lack of a publisher that is capable of doing translation and a world wide release with Japan.

Always been a fan of broken games because of how much it allows you to do which is unexpected. Now SFV is an absolutely honest game but due to its near perfect balance the characters in the game all lack personality while the game in general got old pretty fast too because it's always the same. There is no hidden tech, there's nothing to practice but the beauty of VS games is how much there is to discover and learn.
