The entire launch was handled quite poorly. From the messed up dates and the controversial song charade to the server issues at launch that tainted the experience and the continued issues. It was part of a pre-order package. Similar to how say a $10 gift card comes with other pre-order packages. You mean to tell me you'd be ok if you got a $10 gift card for pre-ordering and it didn't work? And Etowneone, of course I realize who is making the game. I've played everything they've made since HL1 and agree they make great games. But people are making it out to be the 2nd coming, even better than HL2 itself which is a bit ludicrous. I didn't know HL2 sold so well on the xbox and 360. That's right it did compared to the PC, the preferred platform which I will be playing L4D on so no, it's not a 360 exclusive.
Honestly, I think this title is being a bit hyped up and won't deliver. If it does, it will deliver on the PC more than it will the 360 due to better graphics, controls, and more maps and mods from the community so no loss on it not coming to the PS3. Don't be fooled into thinking it's a 360 exclusive though as my pre-order on Steam for the PC begs to differ.

Compared to GoW2 what.. 2 million on first day sales alone? I'm not saying the game hasn't sold. I'm saying this was THE game Sony could have really capitalized on and dropped the ball in a few very key areas including smooth launching and promotions.
