regardless how good or how bad the commercial is it's a good foot in the right direction for sony, dont know what microsoft has to retaliate against this but they better do so fast. This is huge for the sony campaign! Theres a lot of testosterone in the air when it's superbowl time and seeing that meaty clip will make all the FPS fanatics drool over it. Honestly though i didnt like the commercial but I know its purpose so I cant knock it. Definte day 1 buy for me.!!!
like i stated in previous comments it really all boils down to the multiplayer and since we know thats golden its a day 1 buy for me.
Man hands down dont care if your a fan boy or not, Killzone 2 has the graphics game on lock cg and in game, Plus with nothing but positive feedback about the online beta it cant fail, even if the story fails, it will make up in multiplayer, which is the real bread and butter of a game worth spending on cuz of the replay value. Same thing with all u halo and COD players out there, you know u really bought the game for the multiplayer, i have countless buddies on xbox and ps3 that only buy game...

all I can say is wow on the GTA4 hate lol.... is it me or it always been the same thing just amped up like all The Madden games. man i agree with the above seems to me they want both plats to be identical in that case they will have to dumb dow n the PS3 version and not put the best quality out there so it wont take too much memory due to 360 only being DVD.... i'm not m ad that it went multiplat, just mad that a PS3 owner like myself is now getting a downgrade of a great game because MS wants to join the bandwagon, well if that's the case get on the bandwagon and upgrade your drives so we wont suffer
true their gaining grou nd but if microsoft does drop i think they will pretty muc h be forced to drop their price as well.. im sure there are games that will pick up sales but the should rely heavily on ads and promote their product like crazy in order for the games to sell. More software sales can also lead to profit as well you know.

I do believe Geow2 will outsell Resistance no lie they sold over 5 m versus RFOM 2.9 m but your right it is better than Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4 but wont produce their numbers especially since COD4 is multi-plat.

Not a big EA fan but I must say they are very diverse with the titles coming out I can't see how they can't attract everyone in gaming with the titles lined up.
THe games that sparked my interest was Mirror's edge and Dead Space, I'm a lil skeptical about Mercenaries 2 but who knows might be a sleeping giant, I know some are so called exclusive to Xbox360 but who knows might see them on the ps3 a year later.
I do believe video chat would hinder a player from his full potential worrying whats going on onscreen is bad enough vs. what your friend is doing at home can be a bit distracting lol.... well ingame voice chat is nice though they should also have a button for you to press on the controller so you can respond between convo.
Example: Hold circle to respond to team in game, release to continue talking to your friend

FF 13 and Vs were built solely around the Ps3 and the cell's core processor's not saying it's not possible but just like MGS4 when you put a lot of time on just one console theres no point of a timed exclusive. . .
FF13 has been in developement since 05' due out in 09' i'm guessing thats 4 year time a nd to think they could just easily port it in a year is ridiculous. But square is known to have top notch developers though, so who knows

technically for the pricing of the hardware based for the PS3 were getting it for a steal if all that we have were put in a PC, PC's would be costing around 900-1400 DEPENDING ON PREFERNCE. So it not over priced were just being cheap. Even low level PC's dont cost as low as the PS3 or Xbox360 with the same capabilities. Times are chaing we need to get use to it, but one thing I can't get use to is THIS DAMN GAS!!!!! LOL
What's the reason why sony and Ubisoft have a span of 3 hours could they leave room for a lunch I guess? but that's a lot of time for lunch, I believe sony is going to be about and hour or so but not 2 or even 3 hours long.

were talking about 2 games of different genre. I liked Killzone 1 i thought it actually killed Halo 2 honestly but im pretty sure there are people that would beg to differ. Uncharted is a great and new IP and the mere thought that they're trying to surpass what the developers of Killzone 2 are doing can only mean a good thing to us PS3 owners, im just glad that it stayed exclusive.
