Imagine if they simply made another (good) Splinter Cell game instead?
I feel bad for all the employees who still get treated terribly by the corporate suits, but holy hell I won't miss GameStop when it's gone.

You fanboys are unbelievable.
WAAHHH I CANT BELIEVE HE'D RELEASE OLD EXCLUSIVE GAMES ON PC WHATS THE POINT OF ME HAVING MY PRECIOUS CONSOLE IF I CANT FEEL UNIQUE AND SPECIAL FOR PLEDGING ALLEGIANCE TO A FACELESS CORPORATION????
Get over it. There's NOTHING negative about games coming to other platforms. It means the studios will gain more sales which means more financial stability and less chances of getting shuttered, and more cash which can g...
@Atansa
You keep saying there's a "physical aspect" to esports that gives men and advantage over women, but don't ever explain how or why and haven't linked to any actual scientific peer-reviewed studies to support the notion.
Sounds more like there's just a lot of insecure dweebs in this thread trying to go out of their way to claim women simply "can't" do as well as guys in games based off this one LoL team that ...
I left for good around that time. I signed up in early 2005 and was active up until around 2010 or so. They kept changing the site and removing many of the older subforums and forums for specific games. So much useful and cool information, just permanently lost to time, and for no good reason. Honestly even back then some of the admins and mods were biased and woefully inept, so it didn't surprise me that the forums fell into the shitter down the line.
Why does he need to play it to know it's a dumpster fire? Do you need to be shot to truly "know" how bad bullets are for your health?
Playing that many is easy. Playing isn't the same thing as beating lol. Many of them were probably small indie games which makes this easily believable.
I dunno if there's still that much stigma behind it these days, especially since it's so mainstream now and tons of celebrities are openly gamers and in many cases either do promotion for games or outright appear in them directly.
Nobody should let judgemental nonsense like this get to them and if anybody's friends are like this, find less shallow friends lol. Besides, I'd love for one of these types to explain how a game like Dante's Inferno is "f...
Activision: "what's that? You guys want brief wars? Introducing Call of Duty: Grenada, coming in 2020 for PS5, Xbox Series X, and Windows!"
Xbox Series X is as bad as Wii U in terms of marketing and just being a name in general. The first thing it evokes for anyone who isn't a hard-core gaming industry follower (ie the majority) is "what does that even mean?"
Just a terrible name all-around, and fanboyism has nothing to do with it.
Kojima needs to be as far away from SH as possible. How can anybody look at his awful writing and abject lack of subtlety and think "yeah he should totally do a SH game" lol
Before anybody says PT it was literally a hallway traversal simulator with jumpscares, and they had a disclaimer that said it had nothing to do with what Silent Hills would've been like.
Lmao you fucking idiot, 95% nice pulling that out of your dirty unwashed ass.
Holy crap, R.A.D was great. Too bad the framerate was garbage, but otherwise that game was the tits. Would love to see another game like that.
I hope it's not yet another Soulsbourne game. There's tons of those games already, whether they're by From Software or any of the countless ripoffs of it. Would be hella lame for it to go to a niche game that didn't even need to be remade in the first place. Do something unique!
@Ultra
I love how dense the people who frequent this site are, that they couldn't even tell you were mocking the people who actually bought those Fallout subscriptions lol.
No. Because in Hardcore you were still told when you killed someone on top of having hitmarkers still.
Nobody complained about akimbo Rangers in MW2 because they weren't anything special. Almost everyone complained about the akimbo Model 1887s because they were beyond broken, which is why they got nerfed hard with a patch, and even then they were still really effective.
Game is underrated. The campaign had a lot of clever, detailed map design to flow with the abilities of the various exo suits. The characters and story were pretty good too, and I was sad the game ended so soon right when things got crazy as hell at the climax. I think a sequel would've been made if so many people didn't complain about the advanced movement that they couldn't/wouldn't adapt to.
I still am torn by Radio Shack going kaput. That place was still hella useful. Instead of ordering parts online and having to wait, you could just drive up and get virtually anything you needed, even if it was something hella niche. I understand why it went out of business, but it still sucks.
