You just said it...
4k is a generic term in terms of how it was processed.. it's strictly a resolution.
Saying native 4k tells you exactly what it is
Lol.. your an idiot..
The "true 4k" comment was in regards to Scorpio (ps4p really), not x1s.. and by "true 4k" you can assume that's native.. they've been very clear about Scorpio being native for 1st party games..
And where the hell did the ignore feature go? Lol
Edit.. Yes Sony has some native 4k games now.. awesome for them and something ms didn't know about in September when that comment was made.. t...
That's exactly right..
Oh look at this 4k uhd image! Guess what dumbass fanboys?!? He's exactly right..
He is looking at a 4k uhd image.. did he say native? No? Checkerboard? Nope.. upscaled? Nope again.. see that's where you usual suspects fail.. they don't specify how the image is processed and they don't have to.. you choosing to assume it means native is your own ignorance
Sales equal popularity, nothing more..
In a perfect world, the best product would sell the most as well but that's simply not realistic..
But ms never said it was native 4k either..
Nah casuals can't tell anything.. lol..
But I'm not taking a shot at Sony or anything.. their solution seems to be much better then a simple upscaler, tho it does have one for games that need it..
My comments are more directed at people complaining about the marketing aspect..
Native > checkerboard > upscaled doesn't matter for the marketing of it be it 4k or 1080p.. it's kind of like the whole megapixel hype arou...
Being native 4k isnt a requirement of being a "4k" device.. some think it does, but that doesn't mean it's true..
It's the best quality of the various options..
Grossly misinformed people like you probably doesn't hurt.. lol
But it was a 1080p image.. that's kind of the funny part here that seems to confuse many.
360 last gen was technically a 1080p console yet virtually no games did it natively.. but it doesn't matter because the upscaler made it a 1080p image before sending it to the display.
Being "4k" is just the final output.. you need to research for more detailed info.
It outputs at 4k.. how it gets there is irrelevant .
Native or upscaled or checkerboard is still a 4k output.. unless they specifically said native 4k, it's still accurate and in no way false advertisement..
Even Scorpio probably won't. 3rd party devs are never really a good indication as they are hit and miss..
When more demanding games hit the mark, you know it's the dev and not the hardware.
It is a gimmick imo.. but people have them, this makes use of it..
It still isn't vr or makes it cool.. lol
ignoring your obvious attempt... its not vr... you dont even have to click the link to read that.
babadook.. ur name is creepy... lol
you are right but i dont believe anyone does HDR without 4k.. they technically dont need to go hand in hand but all applications so far do.. afaik.. this article explains it

Keep trying.. I love how you change the topic to fit your weak ass argument..
They planned it 3 years ago, only needed a firmware update... Yet only did it now.. after ms released theirs..
Whatever makes you feel better bud.. lol
x1s was at e3 in june.
this entire topic is hilarious to me... lol.. xbox had it first, end of story. we can debate which is the bigger impact or which will drive the most software etc etc... but one obviously came out first.
it doesnt.. but i also dont see why it even matters..
TLG was a fan service... i dont think anyone expected it to sell huge numbers (fanboys dont count)
sure they could... but when japanese developed games were king, they werent specifically japanese..
mario was Italian! lol.. they literally made every type of game imaginable..
announced? try had product on shelves...
(disagree with an obvious fact all you want.. lol)
Typical n4g is right.. use a simple touchscreen autocorrect typo because you can't actually come up with even a halfassed argument..
Bravo :)
Edit.. another empty response from Magoo.. shocker! Get at me when you figure out a real argument lol
