The problem is that ms barely showed any games and has plenty of insidious non gaming philosophies in place with the xbone. Imagined if the conference would have shown 90% games and 10% tv. They might have been able to sneak these deplorable tactics in the door. Their lack of games makes it possible for us to focus on the console. Unfortunately the console is not so good.
Youre right, but I think the potential is there if a server goes down or if data is corrupted or lost.
I would seriously like some clarification on this disturbing thought I had. If games are tied to one user and one account and your friends have to pay a fee to play thats the equivalent of full price, does that erase you as the primary user? Will you have to pay a fee once they return your game?
So here's the thing that people have not considered. Under the xbox1 if you lend your friend the game they have to pay the full price to play, but what happens when they give it back? Will they charge you full price to play your game again? Does lending your friend a game mean that your unique code be deactivated from that game?
@stloony
I hate to point this out but you can buy used arcade games. I bought limbo, splosion man, and trials mx used at gamestop.
I couldnt disagree with duli14 more. Any real gamer doesn't hate a format or a machine. You are no better than anyone else who uses a pc, or a 360. Every system has good games.
I almost agree with you. I won't get rid of my ps3 once I get the ps4, but you have to wonder if all those HD collections would have surfaced if every console was backwards compatible.
They can use it to their advantage with series that have sequel's like mass effect 4 giving you extra weapons if you played the first 3. That gives you extra value for what you bought and adds incentive to buy a new game.
I don't think its the most important thin...
Thanks man I also just found out that the elizabeth model from the original demo was used in the game. That is 4th wall breaking in and of itself.
I dont feel that the ending was dumb at all and i actually have a blogpost about it. Its refreshing to pick up a video game with a complete story. People like the ending because it explains the rest of the game and isnt a cliff hanger or sequel bait. That is why its a good ending.
I didnt play bioshock 2 so i cant compare it to that one but i felt this game was driven by the story more than the first. I felt it was as bioshock as the first and even had a twist in it about the...
What do people do with their consoles? I can understand if it breaks on you but barring that i dont have a reason to just get rid of my ps3. If its a matter of if you can afford it or not then just save up. You dont have to buy a console at launch.
I thought your review was mediocre. It seemed you were trying to be edgy and go against the popular opinion so you could label yourself as original or "trendy"
I didnt mind the combat in the game and i thought you were generally on point with that but it seems you missed a few points in the narative that might have helped you understand it. Everyone in columbia that is an authority figgure is prepared for your arrival and has been instructed to hunt you down. Its e...
Yup i have this theory that the ending of infinite was trying to subtly break the 4th wall. The different light houses being different games in real life. The choice motif being absent from this game yet the game being all about choice is a way to tell the gamer that you dont need to choose a fate for choices to have an impact on story. If your memory serves you right bioshock was all about choice and thats why they went to rapture at the end.
I did enjoy your review because ...
I disagree about the ending being disappointing. I honestly think it wrapped up the game nicely and was satisfying without baiting for a sequel making the game feel like a complete experience.
While i dont think the game is perfect I feel the story (ending included) was the strongest part. I hunted down almost every voxphone so i got a good look into the characters. I think daisy had better character developement than atlus. I just dont remember anything too memorable about ...
Thank you. Do you remember when games all had the fire level the ice and the jungle level?
Its a setting that's been used before? I hope no game ever takes place in a city again.
Finally someone else gave SNES its props. I was starting to feel old looking at all these comments. People just pick the system they have the fondest memories on and for me that was SNES.
I was just saying today how the ps3 won this gen because of the exclusives which are what differentiate each console and give them a sense of identity.
The article was rather vague and knowing ea they can implement a system where technically not paying money would hinder your experience. Its like you're driving around in a Nissan and everyone else is driving Lamborghini's. You can still play but how can you compete or enjoy the game when everyone else payed for an upper hand.
This review was just mehh. I'm sure he was joking when he said he didn't know if raiden was a female. In the opening paragraph he talks about the game hardly having stealth then goes on to say you have 2 options to approach combat. The other problem is his inability to grasp the defense system. Its not such a big deal that the game doesn't have a block button its designed that way to force you to think.
I agree that the camera in this game can be downright horribl...
The reason micro transactions can be so offensive is because you just paid for the frigging game and now you're expected to pay more money to play it correctly? It's a horrible trend that we need to stop by just not buying games like that. I don't mind paying extra money for extra levels months after a game is released but them tailor making a game to nickel and dime you is villainous.
What do people do with their old consoles? I just don't see me trading them in as soon as the new ones are released.
You can talk on your xbone but dont talk about the xbone. Is this poetic justice? All the freedom of communication theyre trying to implement but they cant handle when people honestly voice their opinions. Get your head out of the cloud ms.
