lol i agree well more like ps2, I played the demo last night but oh man it doesnt even look as good as the first one. It's fun i'd pay about 15$ for it but it needs better visuals.
I prefer console games over pc, in fact Gears of war is my favorite franchise this gen imo there is nothing that comes close to touching it. I have played killzone2 uc1 and uc2 heavy rain i played gow3 as well but it didnt really impress me aside from the art style, and frankly those games do look amazing... go play the game, you are clearly misinformed. I think killzone looks amazing but crysis is in a league of its own as it should be considering you can really push the pc. The water the trees the sand the shadows, everything just looks amazing with the proper set up.
The lighting in killzone2 was great, but one thing that i have a problem with, is that its very difficult to find the light sources in the game. It just seems that they have fixed lights throughout the levels which is fine since it really helps with the visuals. Anyone who has the game go and replay some of the levels,and you will notice that lighting just doesnt seem to be coming from a valid source, and i'm talking about lighting fixtures and things of the sort.
I loved san andreas, but my number 1 has to be Super mario3 I still play it to this day.

Backwards compatability, should have remained intact. The new ps3s are not the beasts they used to be, in terms of capabilities, it's really sad, and people make excuses for sony.
I've only played the demo, and from what i have played it looks like a decent game. I can only run it on med settings at 720p so i'm waiting til i upgrade my pc to buy it. Honestly I think there's quite a few games that get a free pass, because of the graphics, i.e killzone, i'm not saying its a bad game I actually really like the multiplayer, but i couldnt stand the campaign, i tried to finish it but just couldnt do it, even with all the eye candy. Rage looks amazing, and considering it runs at double the frame rate than Killzone, I think its very impresive. I don't know how impressive the final product is going to look, Killzone imo is the best looking console game to date, i'm talking overall. I prefer Uc2 to killzone, but uc's effects suck, they really do the best thing in that game are the environments and character models. Yes the weather was great but gunfire grenades things of the sort looked really crummy.
How is Killzone 3 going to set a benchmark, when it's using the same engine as the the second. It's going to look great same as the first, but GT5 is the one setting the benchmark, well at least from the footage i've seen.
Seriously, why do you people care, about who wins or loses. I have both consoles, i love them both for the different gaming experiences they each provide. Look anyone with any sense, knows that the ps3 has had an uphill battle sales wise, due to its steep price. Will it catch up? maybe, what difference does it make as long as you get the games you want to play.
I just hope they implement it well. I personally can do without motion controls, as long as they never make it mandatory to play games with the "move" i'll be fine. It's all business, it was only a matter of time before ms and sony followed in nintendos footsteps,here's to hoping that some amazing games come out of it.
Yeah, cod4 was better, but that's not an easy game to top. Mw2 is still a great game, yes glitchy as hell but definitely a great game. The only people who seem to complain about it, are ps fanboys but actual mw fans love it, which is what counts.
I definitely agree with you, lets pretend to drive a car, or shoot with an imaginary gun, they have an interesting idea but they should have integrated a control to the package. The move has the most potential given that it's a more advanced version of the wii, we'll see how it goes.
while that may be true, using your dualshock and the wand, just doesnt seem all that practical or comfortable. While the nav cont is optional, that is the ideal set up. These devices seem to be aimed at the casual audience, considering that assumption, one controller will not suffice and buying enough for two people or more puts it at quite a steep price.
I wont be buying any of those devices, the pricing for all of them is ridiculous.

I've never been a fan, of his twisted metal franchise. People give him too much credit for making gow, and now he's back with TM.
If he does, it would be great to see him take initiative and develop something new and fresh.
