600$ for a console is alot of money, a tv can last you a lifetime, but consoles do tend to break more frequently than tvs, at least from my experience.
I definitely sony considers it a failure, at the moment, it's all about money and the ps3 has cost the quite a bit of money. I'm not sure if it has started profiting yet but if it has then that could change.

The graphics, on gt5 are alot better than on forza3, not to mention there's twice the amount of cars on screen. I
it has more than half the power, just not the same. Great looking game.
Not bad, it looks really good, if that last scene with the chopper was actual gameplay then wow, it looked really great.
Best so far, Mass effect 2,splintercell and heavy rain.
There's a whole lot more going on screen in k2 than in uc2, i love uc2 but in uc2 the explosions and effects look really cartoony in comparison to killzone2
the lighting on killzone2 wasnt that real, there was a bunch of fake light sources, throughout the whole game theres lighting in the environment that doesnt coincide with the light fixtures or anything that would create the lighting seen in the levels, the developers were just smart and placed some great lighting in certain places of the game.
The story was great, one of the best games i've played this gen. I'm not a fan of the qte, but most of it worked fairly well for the game. The only thing i would have liked was for the movement to be associated with the analog sticks.

Yeah psn is great, but i have too many friends on live that i game it with, plus they have gears lol which is one of the few games i play online. I was hoping UC2 would replace it but it doesnt come close they are too diferent

The only thing i've noticed when it comes to online play, is that xbox does have better match making and that's from my experiences with both services. I feel psn is lacking some features, but for free i cant complain :)
If you're referring to the in game music, I heard something on this site a few years ago, that ms had a patent on the whole universal music thing in a console, I don't know if it's true but just something i heard.
As for voice chat who knows, that's actually something i want for psn as well, i think most of us do.
It's about the same, from what i've seen, but yes psn is a better deal. You don't have to subscribe to play online.
dude the graphics are horrible, the demo was fun, but geez couldn't they have made the visuals better.
