That means its no longer in the bidding for biggest vapourware. That much alone is worth congratulating.
So there are no problems with how women, blacks, gays, etc are portrayed in games? Or in the games industry?
So there's no problems or inequalities for women? In the games industry or as characters in video games?
What about blacks, gays, latinos, etc?
Why am I even asking you? If you type a comment saying feminism makes up all of its "problems" then I don't know why I'd expect a rational dialogue. But I'll leave this here anyway. Why not?
Great game, enjoyed it a lot but that sale price is kinda weak. Retailers have had it at that price several times already. $30 would be a bit better but $20-$25 would be a sweet digital deal.
What leaks? Nintendo says they want next devices to have scalability and same OS. That means both the console/handheld have to either use a mobile IBM chipset or both use ARM. AMD hinted at getting some sort of contract with a dedicated handheld gaming company, i.e. Nintendo. Most likely the Wii U's successor drops BC for ARM processors though Nintendo could put the Wii U hardware in the console for BC if they don't mind raising costs.
Dude, the Fusion rumor is so fake. Why it gets any attention still is beyond me. 128GB Game Cards? Why? Most mobile games are 2-8GB max. 3GB DDR2 memory? dual 640p screens? 3G and finger print scanner? So anti-Nintendo.
Its straight up laughable. Here's what the next DS/Wii consoles will be like under the unified OS set up Nintendo is going for:
4DS/HDS with Vita level hardware, a bit better. Quad-Core CPU/GPU by ARM via ARM, 1GB RAM, $150 launch 2016/20...
So it was $549 in US dollars, now will be $513. Wonder if that means a $50 price cut in the US? Doubt it but you never know. Already own one though.
So you're saying release the "new" 3DS with a small bump in CPU speed, only 128MB more RAM and only 4MB more VRAM as a next-gen successor? No, this is GBC/DSi stop gap. I'd hate if this was the next-system.
Reasonably we're going from Dual Core 266mhz CPU, 128MB FCRAM and 6MB VRAM to maybe 400Mhz CPU, 256MB RAM and 10MB VRAM. And its still 240p.
I don't know about you but I'd rather the 3DS successor be rocking Quad Core 1Ghz or ...
I don't get it. Have people forgotten the CPU/RAM enhanced Game Boy Color and DSi? Or the yearly Android/iOS upgrades? Why is it so bad when Nintendo does it in 4 years? You don't have to buy it and only a few games will be exclusive to it. The price isn't higher, etc.
So a new handheld won't be out of development stages and ready for shelves until say, 2016 or 2017. You suppose Nintendo should do nothing at all to reinvigorate 3DS sales which are declining fast? That's what new models are for.
And that's why the Dual Shock never took off right? Introduced to far into the PS Generation, wasn't it? You don't have to upgrade at all. Only one game is exclusive so far. Just like GBC/DSi had exclusives. Did you get upset for those?
Umm, didn't the DSi have over 300 digital exclusives? Didn't Nintendo pretty much put Intelligent Systems on developing DSiWare games for a few years? I wouldn't call one port of a 3 year old Wii game bigger than 300 original games for DSiWare.
So it will be linear like recent 3D Zeldas then? I mean, Wind Waker was technically "Open world" too, all of them are they just section off stuff.
I did but I should have phrased my comment better as it made it sound like I was talking about the article and not the "Nintendo should go third party" movement in general. Sorry.
Everyone who says Nintendo would make more money as a third party answer me this:
1) How do they replace the $ from selling hardware at a profit?
2) How do they replace the $ from giving Apple/Sony/MS/Google 30% of the revenue from their first party game sales. They'd only get 70% versus the 100% they get from selling their own games on their own systems.
3) How do they replace the $ they lose from being forced to sell cheap apps instead of $40-$6...
Negan? No, I really don't want to see anything about him. Still pissed off about issue 100 though.
I was excited by the Wii U version of Deus Ex with its tweaks until it came to everything else and for cheaper. I have no idea why they waited until 2 months before XB1/PS4 release to ship this version of Deus Ex and didn't port it to PS4/XB1 too. I would have rebought it with much better visuals on PS4 (because I only had PS4 last year at launch, got XB1 this month) for $49.99 rather than the modestly upgraded Wii U version.
Please just give me a PS4/XB1 or Wii U version (own all three) for $19.99, maybe even $29.99 at retail.
This is likely exclusive to the Chinese market since its going to be so unpredictable and an uphill battle. I'd love to see some sort of discount for yearly memberships in the US, even if its just you get a small discount after X amount of consecutive renewals.
That would be the point. There was already little chance of Minecraft on 3DS/Wii U or future Nintendo systems but after this sale its literally impossible.
