I played through about half of FC2, and while not a bad game, It should have been a new IP rather than use the FarCry name. It had nothing in common with the first one other than being a FPS.
Lol, doesn't make his comment untrue though :)
Crysis was a good game, but If you haven't played it yet check out the original FarCry. Crysis is the spiritual successor to FarCry, while FarCry 2 was just an abomination to the original. FarCry will go down in my memory as one of the greatest FPS's I've ever played.
I'm hoping they can reboot the Marathon franchise. While it is similar/shares a universe with Halo, the stories in those games were much deeper. I do wonder if M$ has any rights over Marathon, being it's so closely tied with Halo.
Nobody buys a phone FOR gaming, while iOS and Android do have some neat games on them, its really just a secondary function of the device.
Apparently you weren't a gamer back when all DLC was free...Paid DLC pretty much made its appearance on this gen of consoles, and has slowly infected the PC gaming market as well. I suppose a lot of it has to do with the fact that internet speeds can now support such a "feature", but games used to ship more complete, extra features were added for free, and instead of yearly installments they just created expansion packs when there was enough extra content to justify the price t...
Yeah, ChAIR, a division of EPIC did release the FIRST iPhone Unreal Engine game, however this is stating that Gameloft is releasing THEIR first UE game, not the first one ever.
@Ult iMate
LOL, right..."Apple" and "Open Platform", two things that will never be synonymous.
Steam is for PC (Mac included) games only. Go to steampowered.com to download it. Wouldn't say its better or worse than Gamefly, as they are totally different beasts. Steam lets you purchase and download games to keep forever, while gamefly is a console rental service.
Well, if Steam ever goes under, gaming is officially dead.
Sure was, and you, like I, are a day late to this article.
"DLC they give you"
ha. haha. hahahaha omg I can't stop.
If you don't play Battlefield games in multiplayer, you've never played a Battlefield game before (well, bots I guess, but that hardly counts). They haven't made a true Battlefield game with a single player campaign yet. That hardly give you room to disagree.
One year? That's it? I spent over 4 years preparing for BFA, and now I'm an engineer. Talk about meaningless.
They do have a full game- Check out Battlefield 1942 or Battlefield 2
Actually, Vivendi owns both Blizzard and Activision.
I haven't read this article in particular, but every other article recapping the Q1 statement has said that Blizzard will likely have the D3 beta this summer/fall and they are trying like Hell to get it released this year.
I wouldn't call them "good guys" but I wouldn't call them "bad guys" either. They were just an army endorsed by the Roman Catholic Church. I guess it really depends on who's side of the Crusades you see yourself on.

I don't play too much anymore, but didn't they say a while back that they were bringing the entirety of L4D1 to L4D2? (assuming they haven't already)
Please don't ever again refer to Skyrim as Oblivion:Skyrim.
Its all the Elder Scrolls franchise.
