They should rename the Xbox to just Box
FF7r is equivalent to the Evangelion Re:build series , it's a retelling that slowly starts to deviate from the original story to become it's own thing without diminishing said original series while further expanding the world, story and lore and mixing in a few "what If " scenerios .... lol . To me I just consider it a sequel of the FF7 Compilation series since it ties in some Crisis Core and Advent Children ,
I didn't say anything about sony being better because of the symmetrical sticks that's just putting words in my mouth . I merely stated it's a personal preference that I have . I just have never been fond of the xb design and since it's the design everyone seems to copy , it's kind of a hard sell to someone like me when companies like google or amazon release these generically copied controller design that I never liked anyway. I've never been able to adjust to a controller that doesn't have symmetrical analog sticks . I just don't see how people like having their left thumb always that high up on the controller . I think it's also a big reason I've stuck with PS for over 20 years ... hate to say it even with it's great vast collection of games the controller has always been a big factor why I've stuck with sony . Most modern controllers usually copy the xbox design which I don't get...

It has a distinct art direction that I knew was FF when I saw it , I feel good when I see this because I see them trying to make a good game instead of a fancy tech demo . Just take what they’ve learned the past 10 or so years and just focus on making a good game this time around. 13-15 were nice looking but weren’t good games that took forever to release . From what we saw from combat the animations looked really good , I don’t need to see a characters pores to be impressed
Most games in the next 2 years will still be crossgen with some enhancements for next gen versions . We'll still have some exclusives here and there that take advantage of next gen but the install base is still too high to ignore ps4/pc/xbo players especially the ones who have no intention to upgrade right away , ps4/xbo are still some capable machines . Fromsoft are more about game design then visual fidelity but gotta say I love their art styles
Elden Ring is still supposed to come out on current gen hardware though

It's not really the point I'm trying to make , even trying to get a ps5 before launch will be an ordeal in it self for most people. You expect people to preorder a game that they don't know if they'll be able to get a console on time ?!! F* that ..... plus there shouldn't be bonus weapons in souls games unless it's a cosmetic variant of an already existing weapon you know for the pvp community .... balance in all
Preorder bonus on a game that's supposed to coincide a console release , that's kinda messed up if you think about if it's true . Can't preorder on the console since you won't have it by release , digital ps5 can't preorder a disc version
I still wanna know what the Ui looks like and what new features it has and if any are getting carried over from the ps4 . I’m personally not fond of the ps4 Ui especially the video service section . Still a fan of the ps3 xmb though

These articles are ridiculous , if you compare this next gen to any other it's the best launch lineup ever . Ps4 and xbone lineups weren't that great in comparison , i mean seriously nobody talks about games like KZ:shadowfall, Ryse and a bunch of the upgraded games from the ps3/360 era . I grew up playing Jrpgs, wrpgs have never really been my thing. I've given them a shot like Skyrim which I played 500+ hrs , tried FO 3 and 4 but realize they weren't for me , pillars of eternity was good but nothing I'd wright home about . Developers like CDPR ,SE, Altus ,Bandia-Namco and Fromsoft pretty much fulfill my rpg needs .
