Don't forget, they are both Japanese companies. This leads to a tendency to either try run themselves into the ground or ignore fans outside of Japan.
People trying to get money by rebroadcasting Twitter comments as news articles. All news media is turning into a room of people shouting the same thing and trying to get noticed.
This is the notion that I agree. I've been in part of a small IT business and I've seen startups with little capital pirate their software they rely on, expand and then buy them when they can afford. This is why I think people like Microsoft and Adobe are striving things like Office 365 and Creative Cloud. Cheaper buy in but monthly subscription.
Kamiya caving to public opinion? I'll have what hes smoking.
Its an odd one. Pirating something with an infinite quantity which has no direct negative effect on the seller means people can excuse themselves into making believing its ok and its justifiable through circumstance. For a pleasure based hobby I can't entirely agree. The only piracy I have no problem with is people sharing college or uni textbook pdfs. Its ridiculous how much they had to pay to learn and help progress society is hidden behind a large pay wall and hefty microtransactions i...
Can you do a sequel to a pachinko machine? Probably. Fatal Fury Pachinko 2 inbound. Side note: This looks VERY close to the Street Fighter V art style. Maybe lend him and get the name back out there ahead of a new FF game coming next year?
Apparently Del Toro is no longer attached to Dark Universe, apparently.
People commenting seem to miss the actual quote. In multiplayer heavy FPS games people don't often play the campaign. And campaigns are expensive to produce. He apparently has the data to back it up (presumably the % people who starter, completed or didn't even play the BF4 campaign). I could easily see this data to be true as I remember a high volume of Halo3 and MW2 players who never touched the campaign. I understand his point but I disagree. Multiplayer games have expiry dates, si...
Red Dead Reanimation. Play as Zombie John!
Games Workshop, Stop. You're going to do damage to your brand releasing this many games.
Not sure many companies will be willing to buyout a company who was suspected of fraud. I think if it comes to it someone will buy the Secret World IP, shut the game down but instead develop a single player story driven action game.
I personally don't think it would be a good buy. They make great games but they don't sell well. They are just the western version of PlatinumGames. Great devs, great games, low sales.
Tom Salta did Halo 2 Anniversary and Spartan Assault I think.
Kamiya has nothing to do with Nier 2. It's being directed by the odd Yoko Taro guy.
I wonder if he is going to blame Microsoft for having bugs in his game...
Protect the city, Agent. By destroying it.
I don't think Sumo have anything to do with the mechanics and instead act as a resource studio. Reagent and Dave Jones' team do the core gameplay systems and Sumo fill in assets and campaign.
Its easier to stand out when you literally stand out.
Pay for my flight and I'll go :)
And the death of the Xbox in Japan is complete. Dead or Alive, the series that had been exclusive for several years up till the release of DOA5 has now left Xbox altogether. If there is a DOA6 I can imagine it being on XBO though.
