Did this writer play the same game I did? Its a fantastic game and plays like the originals. Sure its diffult and wonky at times, but thats part of the oddworld experience.
Just want to add, I absolutely loved the intro to this game.
If you liked the original games on PS1, this is like that, but much more cinematic. It's awesome imo. Hope you get a PS5 soon!
I'm playing it on PS+, but I also pre-ordered the nice collectors edition because that Abe figure is awesome. I've always gone physical, even as we progress through this digital age.
The PS3/Vita playstation store going down is a great example of why it's important to go physical. It's less convenient sure, but when you're unable to purchase/download your old games, hopefully you have disc versions of your favorite games.
With the current prices for PC hardware insanely high, I find this a terrible time to begin expanding to PC hardware. They need to do something, but unless they're able to get the hardware we can't, and sell it at MSRP (at the very least), then I don't seeing this venture becoming a success.
I'd much rather have servers from old games brought back to life than continue supporting any of the games in this list.
Remake enhancement? So yeah, I guess it's a remaster of a remake lol.
There are so many awesome games coming down the road and we heard nothing about them. Silent Hlll? Nope. God of War? Nope. Gran Turismo 7? Nope. Ratchet and Clank? Nope. Horizon II? Nope.
I'm glad they announced a few new games coming, but man, this was pretty underwhelming. I really wish Square would have focused completely on FF Remake Part 2, rather than working on PS4 to PS5 transitional DLC.
Dude, I just want FFVII Remake Part 2.
Nobody wanted to play an entire zelda game with clunky motion controls. Really cool idea, but man.. Zelda games are long which is cool, but if the controls aren't great, it gets frustrating pretty quick.
The creation club was such a scam dude. Overpriced content and not even really worth the cost. I loved fallout 4 and the 'official' DLC content, but man, the Creation Club was such a rip off. No EULA agreement + a promise that all DLC was included in the season pass. That doesn't bode well for Bethesda. They better hope they're able to merge with Microsoft, or things are going to get ugly.
I can understand them taking more time to ensure they don't introduce more bugs while fixing the old ones, but blaming the pushback on a recent cyber attack? I'm not so sure about that. I'm pretty sure they have some sort of security team, and if not, it's like they need all developers on deck to fix their exploitable entry point.
I wouldn't mind a NFS: Underground remake. That could be pretty sweet.
I love the Series S. While yes, it may be difficult for developers to get the most out of it, you can't beat the price point. Unless they want to create a fiasco and say, "This game only runs on Series X", then they're just going to have to deal with it.
Absolutely, if you can't find a PS5 with the disc reader.
Absolutely man! It runs better, looks better, and is just as awesome as the first time we played it.
The Xbox Series S is a steal man. Right now, the only downside is the memory issue. But games take up less space on the Series S, it's not a big deal. I'm not surprised it's selling really well. It's by far the best bang for your buck.
Please don't be a madden clone. Please don't be a madden clone. Please don't be a madden clone.
Playing on PC, the story is good, gameplay is fun, and the environment is cool to explore. Its obvious it wasn't finished as some areas have nothing in them, and there are still major bugs and all that. But if the game was completed they way the devs intended, this would be a 9/10 for me. In its current state, its like a 7. Of course, this is just my opinion and experience with the game.
I love these 'murder mystery investigation' type games so I'm definitely interested, but there just wasn't enough in this 'gameplay' trailer to push me over the fence. I'll wait to see what some folks think after release.
The dual-reality feature does looks pretty cool and I could see a lot of really cool/creepy uses for it. I just hope the devs capitalized on the opportunity.
Maybe they should focus on making their company a better place to work, rather than attempt to make games which ..obviously they have no idea how to do.
