Lol for an almost completely unknown dev studio with almost no released titles, they sure do know how to get people riled up. It's funny that they say, "How are we scammers" when they run a kickstarter, they cancel it, then a few years later, release it as a mobile title.
Check out the history of their studio. Yeah, it's pretty sketchy to say the least.

It's "Activision Blizzard", so I'm 100% expecting MTs and paid loot boxes. you thought the Auction House in D3 was bad? I'm expecting pay to win tactics once again.
I hope they keep some integrity, but being a realist, times have changed and so have corporations and what they can get away with.
And very unfortunately, Blizzard is still a blacklisted company for me, so even if D2 Remake is the greatest thing ever, I won't be suppo...
It was a hard life for John the mower. He grew up with nothing but small lawns to cut, out in the suburbs. Money was tight but he made due with what he had. On a fine summer day, he caught a lucky break caught wind of a big job down near the lumber yard. It was 12 acres of pure green heaven and John wanted in...
That's how I imagine the story would go =P
If Kratos was some generic character, it wouldn't really matter, but there's a lot of history to his character throughout the games. If the devs dropped him and replaced with another character, I'd consider it a spin off unless Kratos is involved in some way.
Such an iconic car/driver combo. The track and environment looks awesome. I've loved their track design in 8 & 9, and very much looking forward to this game as well.
I haven't played it on anything aside from PC, but I've been in areas of the game, where *i think* it's supposed to be difficult to sneak through and obtain special items, but..there's just nobody there so I'm walking around, looting, hacking cameras, and grab the good stuff and leave.
it's like they forgot these areas existed or didn't bother putting enemies in them...
I 100% agree with you. There needs to be some form of accountability on Metacritic. I've completely abandoned that site because of the poor quality of user reviews.
The sad thing about that, is the fact that a lot of people want to voice their honest opinions on a game, but it's overshadowed by all the hollow user reviews.
Before the truth about the company came out, nobody wanted this. Now that we know what kind of conditions it's employees were facing, we DEFINITELY do not want this. Well, at least I don't.
To be honest here, I don't want anything from Blizzard, including Diablo IV.
This is quite possibly one of the worst reviews I've ever read. I mean, it starts off talking about ray tracing, which they admit they have no idea what it does lol. You know..maybe if they simply took 5 minutes to pull up an article which explains what it's actually doing, it might make sense as to why the frame rate would decrease.
And then they go on to complain about the fact that this is an optionable feature and it should just run perfectly without any perform...
Has EA completely forgotten the fact that they've killed more studios than they've 'done good' with acquired studios?
Whether it is or is not impactful to the company remains to be seen. But unlike the 'normal' situation of shareholders suing the company they own a part of, Activision Blizzard also has a large amount of employees on strike. Their consumer base is unhappy and their stock value is tanking.
The question is, will all of this actually impact their business? I certainly hope so. Anyone working at a game studio should have the right to a union to ensure wages are fair no ...
Maybe we'll see a different version when there isn't a microprocessor / GPU shortage?

I fixed the title for you: "How I made $100 writing an article I knew was going to irritate people".
Seriously, you have nothing better to write about?
In case you're unaware of what is happening with Activision Blizzard, here's a video to get you caught up. I cannot morally support a company that treats their employees this way. Screw Blizzard man.

I'm never supporting Blizzard again, even with the download of a free game.
Yeah, that's about all I have to say, really.
I remember being pretty excited for Watch Dogs. But after I played for about 10 hours or so, I got bored. The game had cool ideas, but the story just wasn't that good. I loved the aesthetic of the main character, but didn't like his personality, or lack thereof. But still, at times, he was a bad ass.
The question is...if Ubisoft decided to remake this game, would I play it? Unless it was heavily discounted, probably not.
It wasn't scary. There, I said it. And then you add in a friend and it's really really not scary. Not to mention, some of the 'wave' rooms were just annoying and frustrating to get through. I didn't enjoy my time playing this game, and I probably won't now.
Name one time where a live service actually turned out as a positive. Its a micro-transaction nightmare dude. Screw Ubisoft man. Assassins creed has gone downhill, but damn.. don't do this.
Reminds me of the Fallout: New Vegas glitch where the first character you talk to begins rotating his head clockwise. It was awesome and terrifying all at the same time.
