whoever prefers the Tales series over FF either has really poor taste or need to have his head checked. And underrated doesn't mean that a marginally good game is being overlooked but that a really great game (like Valkyria Chronicles) is being ignored by the masses. I think the Tales series is fine where it stands, certainly not underrated.
probably because most people still consider DQ8 to be the best in the series and they are still expecting another one similar to it but Square is too busy milking the franchise with remakes, spin-off and low budget sequels on handhelds. On top of that, the next iteration will be an MMO.
double post, sorry.
GOW series is incredible from an artistic and story point of view, now I only hope they can evolve the gameplay beyond its current state for GOWIV to make something truly worthy of being called a masterpiece.
I agree man. I used to worship this guy but all he is doing now is sucking from every tit trying to find the one that gives him the most milk.
I don't mind QTE's when they are well implemented like in the GOW games but these? These are pathetic.
Back in the day it was only SF but now they are doing these shenanigan stuff with all their games.
I liked XII a bit because of its big world but X and XIII weren't exactly my cup of tea either. Too linear, way too much unnecessary drama, cut-scenes and unlikeable characters.
for once it's not the PS3 owners the ones getting shafted. =p
Then my friend, I think you too been living under a rock!! Seriously, you have never heard of wikia? Like, are you really being serious? That's like saying that you have never heard of Youtube or reddit. XD
Every time you look for anything related to video games or anime and stuff like that on google wikia is "ALWAYS" one of the firsts results.
I pity the people who actually take IGN seriously now. They used to be one of the best but not anymore. IGN is now 85% flamebait, 5% news (which half of it are just rumors and speculations) and 10% game reviews (and not even that well written).
If you don't try to play them, it's not what you think. They didn't catch my attention either but then I bought the third one because it was cheap and now I'm a huge fan.
Peter is a game designer while Phil is just an old-fashioned business man. I really don't see how he can do a better job than Peter as head of a game studio.
Phil was an executive vice president of SCEE and part of the board of directors of Atari, now that makes sense. But head of a game studio? I know that he's a bit of a graphic artist but come on....
there are rumor of Wii U running Unreal Engine 4.
the game will be more like a shooter though. Like Wet.
let's be honest here. What will dictate Wii U's success is its price. If the console launches at more than $300 (even $350) it will not succeed just like it happened to the 3DS at the beginning of its life cycle.
true that man. Motion control work well with some games but not for most of them.
It got an 8 but did you read the complaints? They were big and abundant but OXM tend to overrate games so I wouldn't take their opinion seriously if I were you. Let's better wait for Gamespot and Edge reviews, the ones that really matter. And of-course your own....
Sigma 2 was worse than the original alright (less enemies, no blood) but the first one was a carbon copy of the original game but with much more content, wide-screen and HD support so don't come here with that BS now. Of all the original NG versions Sigma is the best. Period.
Oh dear: http://www.reactiongifs.com...
The funny thing is that I was actually going to buy the game day one just because it was Ninja Gaiden but if the other reviews are going to be like this too then you can bet this game will hit the bargain bin in a matter of weeks. I think I'll wait, I was thinking about buying SFxT too, maybe I can buy them both cheap by next month.
