the new Raiden has stuff that the old didn't like the red eyes and the weird product print on his forehead, maybe you play as as a duplicate robot and not the real Raiden cyborg.
better than to call it Metal Gear when it clearly is not!

u have to remember that he is a cyborg so he cuts stuff like a robot and not like a human. I liked what I saw as a game but not as something related to Metal Gear because it was too cheesy and over the top by MG standards. Another thing is that I liked that they were going to tell the story of how he became a cyborg and all that stuff but now they changed that too!!!! =(

Raiden is part of the main franchise, in fact he was the main character on MGS2 for god's sake. This is not just a random spin-off that has nothing to do with the main series like saying, FF tactics, this is more like those crappy Kingdom Hearts spin-off that are still part of the overall story even if they are just spin-off.
2 franchises in one generation, this is a first for them!
No one can say that ND are one trick pony since most of their games since the PS1 have been really good and Uncharted 2 has won so many awards is crazy. And now they are making an open world game, once again proving wrong all the haters that say they are not capable of developing games that aren't linear. ;)
Why is the PS3 still in third place with so many games and free online? Are people really that blind or what?
and what is 140m? Like 2% of the world and that's the highest selling video game console in history? haha
BTW, the PSP sold really well the problem was that the game's sales were really really low. In a few years PsP games are gonna be so rare that their prices are gonna skyrocket real bad if you ask me. If you have many PsP games then don't sell them! I sold many PS1 games like Suikoden II and now they cost A LOT. ;)
Every game after Ocarina of Time has been better but none of them have been able to do what it did in its time. Period.
The same is happening with the Uncharted and COD:MW franchises. Uncharted 2 and MW for its time did stuff that it's gonna be hard to top with slightly improved sequels and Zelda SS is on the same boat. Even if Nintendo fanboys want to accept it or not the fact is that Zelda SS was built on the same old formula that was made for Zelda Oot.
You enjoyed FFXIII and thought that FFX was garbage even though both games are so similar in story drama, battle system and overall presentation? I think the game looks nice and everything for what it is (and many times much more better than the DMC reboot) but like you I was expecting something more down to earth, more serious. This looks way too over the top by MGS standards and cheesy as ***. I know that cyborg Raiden is powerful and can slice stuff to pieces but this is just plain ridiculous. =/
They just took Vanquish and made it 30frames for both consoles. That is not learning, they just gimped both versions so nobody complains since the game was supposed to be 60frames like Bayonetta. And Bayonetta had as much crazy action as Vanquish so don't come to tell me that 60frames wasn't possible on that game.
God of War 3 has variable frame-rate between 30 and 60 but most of the time is running at 45. Digital Foundry has an entire article just talking about GOWIII graphics and the game looks a gazillion times better than DMC.
Metal Gear Rising looks more like Devil May Cry than this game. In fact, this looks boring compared to MGR... haha

weird and lonely? Jwong, Marlinepie, Nerdjosh, Honzo Gonzo, Floe, Marn and many more play fighting games online all the time, are they lonely and odd too?
BTW even Jwong found the new KOF game to be so nice that he dropped MK to play KOFFXIII on tournaments.
