and who doesn't? lol
Tales of Xillia sold more than that and Namco still considered it a failure, now imagine what Square has to be thinking about FFXIII-2 a franchise that is like 10 times bigger and more popular than the Tales series. On top of that I bet the budget for FFXIII-2 was many times higher than Tales of Xillia considering that Square needed a bigger team for multiplat development and fast localization.
Now try to spin that. =/
This one has English subs and it's higher quality: http://youtu.be/DEAgmL97wHU... ;)
That's what I've been saying all the time. People are always like: "why are you getting so excited for a game which you know very little about? And then I say that a lot of info has been released but I get tons of disagrees anyway.
The game's looking pretty good: http://youtu.be/DEAgmL97wHU...
I blame whoever let Toriyama be the director of a FF game. Just look at FFX-2 for god's sake....
edit: after reading this I found something funny. I don't know if I'm crazy but I swear I read this exact same article but written by a N4G user on his blog.

Only good thing about FFX-2 was its battle system because ever...
it's different dude, this guy has ultimate weapons and his level is maxed out. In other words, he had to do sidequests and a lot of backtracking to achieve that while in FFXIII there is none of that. Even Yuna is doing 99999 damage with simple attacks and the enemy doesn't die, which mean that in a normal play-through you would need to use magic and stuff instead of simply attacking for 99999 damage to beat it.
Next time, use common sense please.
they always call it remake. Even the other HD re-releases everybody calls them remakes too.
FFX underrated? What?
And why are people getting so exited over new character models and some filters? Because you and me know that's is what they are gonna do anyway. Square is not remaking the game on a current gen engine, they are just updating some stuff here and there just like Kojima did for Meal Gear. Metal Gear were 3 games while FFX is just 1. I wonder what will be the price for just one HD re-release.
I don't know why Capcom doesn't do a PSN re-release of that old Strider game for the PS1. It would be pretty awesome.
even though the PS3 have a ton of games 2012 is gonna be a tough year. Nintendo is launching the Wii U, the 3DS is destroying the Vita and the Xbox is selling like crazy thanks to Kinect. =/
I wanted to read it but it is in chinese and the translation is a mess.
And launching too soon means that they are not taking full advantage of the console.
I do the same, if I'm with friends I use mic otherwise I do not.
This looks more like a Mario 64 remix than a sequel.
BTW, Nomura just did the art not their personalities and background stories and all that. Toriyama told him more or less what he wanted and that was what Nomura made.
That was my whole point with my wall of text if you don't want to read it.
@iamtehpwn sorry to say this to you but you have no idea of what you're talking about and you're twisting things in ways that doesn't even make sense for the sake of making your point get through.
The Kingdom Hearts team is not the same team that makes FF games. FFXIII was already planed out when the main FF Team requested the help of the KH Team but it was only to accelerate the development process. FFvs main team is the KH Team, not the usual team that Square us...
Was Dumbledore really gay or is Destructoid trolling?
Bro FFVII is all pre-rendered art and according to rumors the only thing they are gonna remake are the characters and spells while for FFVII they would have to remake everything!
@SuperLupe is true that FF games are linear but this? http://img4.sankakustatic.c...
COME ON!! <_<
At first you didn't have much freedom in FFVII but then you got an airship and could do the gold chocobo sidequest, go to the golden saucer, do the knight of the round side-quest, do the ultimate weapon side-que...
