As the article states this would be a stop gap game between FO4 and TES 6 rather than instead of a new game, I mean you know the fastest turnout between Bethesda games thus far is 3 years? TES 6 is probably a ways away, that said I'd rather they remaster Oblivion than Skyrim as the former has it's 10th year anniversary this year and it's in way more a need of a graphics update than Skyrim, plus as a PC player I don't see what Skyrim Remaster would offer me that mods haven'...
Great timing for the announcement what with the first game recently becoming backwards compatible on Xbox One and being this months Game with Live.
Yeah it was worth a near daily check in once as they were outputting consistent quality stuff, now I go weeks between revists as Yahtzes material takes 5 mintutes to consume so I watch 2 or 3 at once.
Goddamn PT/Silent Hills never even came out and still it's left a huge impact on the entire horror genre, I really hope Kojima's new PlayStation game is going to be a survival horror.
Plus maybe when just under 50% of your female populations is repulsed by the idea of physical intimacy with another person, there is something wrong with your culture that needs to change
Yeah but a census from last year suggested 46% of women the age of 16 to 24 despise sexual contact. So yeah I'd actually prefer the victim narrative peddling feminists to the we hate men feminists.
+sullynathan If I want to collect stuff that's my prerogative its an RPG a genre defined by player choice, Christ Fallout 4's biggest fault is that it has reduced some of that choice. Witcher 3 however insists that you play a Swordman/Alchemist who is karmaically good but slightly roguish, in terms of player involvement it's super shallow but really polished.
+DarkOcelot (I assume that's a spelling mistake) I'm sorry but I though people on the internet w...
Neither are my advocate, both are fantastic games with minor flaws Fallout having bugs and a poorer dialogue system than previous entries and Witcher 3 forgetting to actually allow roleplaying in an RPG.
Bloodborne is the clear GOTY as whilst it attempts less it fucking nails everything it tries.
Which it achieves by being much less interactive, it's called a trade off dumbass.
As somebody who works with Stats in Science I'd argue that confidence values like that are meaningless without repeatability and a broad range of samples. Yeah I know a lot of these sorts of Survey's don't do that and that's why I take everything they say with a grain of salt. Plus lets not forget their just examining correlation not causation which in of itself is pretty pointless, I'm sure you've noticed the strong correlation between the decline of Pirates and the R...
Their sample size was only 948 people so its a pretty inconsequential statistic, I wish I could generalise a billion dollar business by asking fewer than 1000 people.
AND? Who gives a shit if their wearing revealing clothes? Are you a closeted homosexual? do you just hate women? I mean surely you jerk off sometimes and I sure as shit don't expect the women in that to be wearing fucking parkours. If you don't like it don't watch it, myself I watch 0 streams because watching somebody else play a game bores me to tears but you don't see me criticising the whole thing.
Actually they said both consoles will be 1080p 30fps, with the OC obviously being capable of more.
At this point in my life I don't trust any release dates until the game is gold, I can't even recall the last big title that wasn't either delayed or went years without an official release date.
@mkis007 Bloodborne doesn't really count as a new franchise its just a super polished DarkSouls sequel (for reference it along with Phantom Pain are my favourite games of the year), the Order was fairly mediocre, haven't got any interest in Rapture but Until Dawn looks cool. Overall I'd say Sony isn't really excelling in the innovation department but then again neither is Nintendo or Microsoft, most innovation seems to be 3rd party or Indie.
Battery life doesn't bother me but the lining of the sticks is shite, had to buy a second controller because the right thumbstick was practically falling apart. That said my second controllers fine so perhaps I got a shitty one the first time one.
Hideo Kojima favouring Playstation over Xbox, this completely blindsided me how could we not have seen this coming?
Feel free to read the opening paragraph before commenting as he says MGS4 was poorly written in that it was bloated, which as someone who likes MGS I can totally agree with, having regular 30 minute exposition dumps is shitty writing in any medium. I still like the game a lot (it's an 8.5/10 in my view) but clearly that games narrative needing serious editing or better pacing and when compared to the original MGS or Snake Eater it really stands out as poorly written.
They said their open to a console release but their focused on a pc release. I suspect it will be like Diablo 3 in that the console will come out a lot latter.
But very satisfying for a handful of hours here and there and even better if you invite a friend to join in
