Not confirmed both will be this year, but suggesting from the Rare composer's tweet, this will be a big year for Rare.
More about first party, that's what i wanted to hear.
Obviously there is more to the story for DarkSide and MS's relationship. Glad to see MS had full faith in Moon Studios, hope to see more games like Ori.
i think they could get another team, probably internal to get the game remastered. The team at Remedy could just keep their focus on QB.
I mean i really don't mind the delay if there is, just like UC4 i'm too excited for QB. Even though the delay's are for the best, can't really shake of that anticipation I've had.
Yeah, I get Forza 6 as they really haven't shown gameplay or a trailer but Fable Legends, not sure why either. Hopefully we'll get some news on those games too. but for QB i was more interested as i love what remedy games come to become and I've been so psyched for it since the reveal.
Ahh, i hate that they did not show Quantum Break in that teaser. Will keep me wondering if they have delayed it. Anyways this will be an awesome year of games all round.
Crackdown and Scalebound not confirmed for this year but i think there is a chance of a 2015 release for either title.
Damn, knew this would happen. Had a feeling but was not convinced since they did show gameplay in December.
"That mostly changed around spring of 2014. All of a sudden, I became flooded with emails and design docs for a new Conker game. Basically, MS wanted to reboot Conker, and was shopping around for developers to make the new game. MS wasn’t comfortable developing it, and Rare DEFINITELY wasn’t making it"
Sound's like once Phil became in charge, he really started to pursue the older IP's.
@yaay4me
The numbers by VGchartz are for week ending Feb 13th and the Numbers from Sony are as of March 1st. So if you go with the correlation Vgchartz is pretty accurate.
Thats absolutely horrible, R.I.P!
"They were always so quick to throw their sales out in the open last gen"
Thats because they were leading. During last gen, when PS3 was suffering even Sony released only shipped numbers.
"I don't even think it's impossible that the XBone failed to sell 3 + million units in the last 4 months. "
That seems way off. it's already been confirmed during the end of MS fiscal quarter they've shipped north of 12m ...
"And just for the record VGCharts has PS4 at 19,404,314 as of Feb 14th so unless they sold 300k for the last 2 weeks I would say they're under tracking them by nearly half a million."
i'd think they're right on track, considering the Order released during those two weeks and probably sold multiple units, and recently PS4 has been selling north of 150k a week.
I'm sure it's more than that. They are funding the project basically.
@jb227
Darrell Gallagher, stated that Tomb Raider will alway exist as it is such a huge character/franchise but MS are funding the development cost and co publishing the game. He also stated that MS have sent their people to help with the development a.k.a they're basically co developing the game.
@Sevir
"MS came to them about this because Uncharted 4 was primed for a 2015 release And they wanted something to match/rival that monste...
I said this previously on a different article, a broken game can be fixed but gameplay cannot. One of the reason for such mediocre reviews is the "lacklustre" gameplay implemented in The Order 1886.
To be fair broken games like Halo MCC and Unity can be fixed. Gameplay cannot. Hence why the low scores for the order.
Actually it's not, at the point when PS4 got 18.5m, PS2 Sold 20.1m. Nevertheless amazing. in the end PS4 will outsell the PS2.
"It's a shame that Quantum Breaks game play ideas were supposed to be Alan Wake 2"
I'm kinda glad they turned to QB. I think taking a gap between sequels is a good idea. That and QB look's amazing.
