I m stuck at work but will update as soon as I get back. I m wondering about the audio codec... has anyone noticed a big improvement...? I use a pair of astro's and have always been disappointed by voice communication (crackles and static). Has this update made voice audio crystal clear?

Totally awesome, the cut scenes are great. Had me chuckling along. Feels great popping zombies on expert mode. I just wish more people were on the multiplayer, I been hanging around waiting for a while on some occaisions. Sure that will change once more people have downloaded this amazing DLC.

I m thinking releasing a new arcade IP in current Japanese climate is more expensive / risky. Safer and cheaper to bring the experience to console owners. And I m glad they did :) They nearly didn't do a ssf4 arcade in japan.

Love this game, reminds me of being down the arcades, the music blasting, heart pumping feel. And there is the best level up system ever, yourself!
As you get better in the game you start pulling off ultra slick kills. It's a game where your own skill improves and that makes you want to go back and own levels and challenges.
This is about improving you own skill, score, time, style, take your pick it's all there.

If you get the chance pick up vanquish, it offers an arcade experience at home. It's heart pumping high octane action, with loads of replay value. As you get better you become more stylized in your kills and it's awesome going back and sliding around backflipping over cover while popping off three mechs in the head (all in slow mo).
This game is for arcaders.
Was on the fence about vanquish picked it up today and loving it. Been a long time since a game got adrenaline pumping. 6 hours of concentrated frantic gaming action!!!!

Just an idea guys but as an impartial community with gaming as our ethos why don't those who have got this game post up their completion times along with difficulty setting and any valid comments ... Tried it on iPhone 4 and iPad and just crashes as soon as I try opening :(
This game had it's charm but seriously check my other comments I was into this but as the game continued I realised it was all hype. The story has it's charm but by no means is it noteworthy and the ending make u feel like u just watched a b-movie. shallow. By the rave reviews I m starting to think the western press and Game industry are trying to out phase Japanese rivals. Castlevania is a far superior game. IMHO
Really enjoying the ride. Got Castlevania waiting for me afterwards but one thing about enslaved is replay value. Once the journey ends I can't see me coming back, not for a while at least. Where's as what I know of Castlevania there are trails and levels to revisit with new skill sets.
If I was to choose, Enslaved as a rental to enjoy the emotional narrative and Castlevania as something to sink your teeth into :) Pun intended!
Seems like something whacky they would do. For starters play the trial not just listen to a view from someone on a forum; make your own mind up: if ur stupid enough to follow blindly then it's your fault.

Too much change for me...first N4G, now my xbox dashboard.... I need to play around with it more; there are defo pros and cons.
One thing is the bright white menu tabs/screens are too in your face, I think sterile was the perfect word for it.
It is faster tho and avatars are more anatomically correct.
